Tallyn Da Silva #270

There's certainly some pressure on APi, if he loses form or keeps getting injured next year.......gggrrrrr.

I don't think he will btw
I don’t think there’s any pressure on Api.
He just continues to give his all.
If that’s not good enough, it’s on the club and their recent decision 🤷‍♂️

Its a poor look for potential new recruits when they see much talked up juniors leaving
Yes this is the part parents would be worried about , Richo and Benji can tell them anything on how they will look after their son but the proof looking outside in tells a different story , Galvin and TDS were both hyped up by many now they are gone and family saying great decision isn’t helping us , my idea would be to secure the next couple of young stars and go buy a comp like the roosters do , spend heaps on players of Quality and get us up the top , stop trying to use young guys who are just not ready , 3 year plan spend big on the nrl side full stop .
We do have a fair part of a team - API , Bulla , Luai , May Snr , Sam F , KPP coming , Turuva , Pole just , now we need to go and buy a nrl centre , Lock , prop , that would be 11 players , then you have Bird who I do rate he just needs to be given 14 roll now he sparks us and can play multiple positions , Skelton , Latu , Sione , young May fingers crossed , Seyfarth , Toa , Hunt also needed to be bought back this week and told smash them for the rest of the year or your free to go , just my dribble

These kids have other teams after them too though ,,,.it’s a tough cycle to break .. they need to offer them overs or they will go to a better club …so the majority that don’t turn out to be NRL players you get left with paying overs, and the good ones try to force you to let them walk… they need to be tougher with keeping the good ones …

Wasnt there a clause in Galvin's release that he was not to disparage the club (WT)? I'd like to test that, or do things always flow the players way these days?
How do you make this stand up in Court? Because he posted a couple of emoji’s? I think it was a dig personally. Not the end of the world, but it a dig nonetheless. But there is a significant amount of deniability if the club really felt slighted. Would be really petty tbh.

Thats's because the club plays them in first grade as 18/19 year olds, clearly underdone but showing glimpses of potential. The boys themselves (and probably their hangers on) think they're now NRL stars and should be in NRL teams regularly or on better coin.

Makasini has been named in reserve grade this week, and the kid has hardly trained or played any rugby league in the past few months while GPS rugby has been on? Sounds like they're going to make the same mistakes with him and may debut him in NRL this season if the selection in NSW Cup is anything to go by.
Hasn’t he just, or is on the verge of turning 18? I’d say the odds are good he plays one or two games.

I wonder what it means, the wink. If I put my tin foil hat on I might think Canterbury and Parramatta can arrange some attractive TPA’s that we can’t.

Did you hear the review Benny Ellias gave TDS. Ranked him as one of the Top 6 Hookers in the game.
