Richo is a smart operator. He is letting Benji get his own way on all the calls because he knows Benji will fall on his own sword when he undoubtedly fails. Will be sacked as club will have no alternative not to mention sponsors.

Can take a lot of that with a grain of salt however, being an inexperienced coach, he may feel the pressure of these big personalities and hardened first graders.

Benji is safe until next year our best players love him Api, Luai, Fainu brothers, Skelton, Toa, May brothers, Twal, Pole. KPP signed knowing he’s the coach. The players offside have been Klemmer, Bateman, Matamua, Galvin, TDS, Douihei,Tumeth.

Once you work out the trend of players you can see why the coach is being backed by Richo.

No issue with the coach being replaced by a better option but it would be counter productive this year.

Yeah, I just don’t see how the fact that players love him is relevant when we continue to lose games. I’m sure there is a lot of BS in the article, but it’s hard to argue that the lines aren’t blurred between him being their mate and their coach. The fact he runs around during training sessions would give further credence to him being one of the boys, even if it’s subconsciously. There’s no separation and I think you run the risk of the players becoming way too relaxed in that environment.

Last week it was Tom Turbo unhappy with Siebold and his job was on the line - they had a win and the next target is Benji.
The media feed off people who buy their BS that is what keeps them in jobs. It doesn't matter if it's got an ounce of truth to it or who is victim to it.
This club is not experiencing poor form on the back of an individual coach the rot is ingrained. If we don't back what we have been selling why would anyone else believe that this club knows what it is doing ?

Benji has had a good ride from the media in view of 6 straight losses. we put our faith in a coach with no experience and are paying the price. This was even though he was provide with a much better roster than 2024. We cannot continue to back him with mor recruits.
