Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Do more research, I watch nearly every game every week, so I know when a player is not playing the full 80mins.
Well I watch every game every week. But I can’t think back that far, I guess you cannot either. So I checked his minutes for each game through the 2020, 2021, 2022 seasons at Penrith. As I said, he was the preferred starting hooker and played predominantly 80mins in 2020 and 2021. And also gave you his game average for 2022.
I guess you’re suggesting he clocks off for 20mins each match? Very hard to clock off at Hooker.

Where was Mitch Kenny during this time ?
Unlike Benji, Ivan doesn’t generally leave his players sitting on the bench for 70 or 80 minutes.

Glad you asked, Mitch Kenny played the games that Api wasn’t available for as most back ups do.
In the 2022 season from the mid way point of the year onwards he started to get more game time playing a combination of Hooker and lock.

Imagine being amped up to be an NRL star. You have been dreaming about it for years. You finally make it. You're introduced to some old homeless guy... wait no that's HBG and Wests Tigers board member and therefore my boss Dennis Burgess.

Uh... okay.

And started ahead of Api in the Grand Final is that correct ?

I thought that was leading to Pascoe when you said homeless.

Please explain ?
I’ve met Dennis at Wests Leagues a few times, he didn’t seem to know what day it was, but hey looks can be deceiving.

Most teams use damaging back rowers that we just don’t have, which makes your shift movements much more predictable.
I think we shift too much for our backrowers to be damaging, just my opinion. I’ve noticed the raiders bring their centres back in through the 3 man where most teams bring their backrowers through. They don’t feel the need to play with width and play a more compressed power game, I think we need a combination of both but in anything the more you pass a ball across field the more pedestrian it can seem.
