Jahream Bula #269

I don’t think it will be Mason. Just for the fact Latu still isn’t ready for 80. So someone needs to start at 6. I’d be curious to see Laulilii at fullback. That’s supposedly his position.

It’s Mason … never in doubt 😑…although Luke L supposedly been braining them in KOE…we might also see Latu play the 80 this week im predicting..

Also, someone said Bula tweaked his hammy on literally the last play of the game last week..only here …

Bula was given PRP on his injured hamstring club is hoping for a quick return.
The tear was a due to fatigue on the hamstring very common in high intensity sports. As for Latu looks like the injuries are behind the hamstring injuries were due to him not doing two 90 percent intensity sessions at training which prepares the body for the 80 minute games. The club was trying to nurse him through his injuries which wasn’t working.

Latu’s latest injury seemed a bit odd to me … he broke his thumb and was recovering from that …then about three weeks later we were told he did his hamstring as well?

Seems like the media have turned their attention to Bula today💀 If I understand correctly, we have an option to extend his contract? Not sure what all the fuss is about

I would love our club and many others to totally black ban dealings with Mosses but sadly that is unrealistic as it would limit you to a fair chunk of the market. Also it is only effective if most clubs follow suit and that will never happen in a win at all cost environment.

I would be encouraging and even offering a incentive to any players on our books who are with IM to seek new management when their arrangement with the devil expires.

As for Bulla I hope he listens to guys like Api and Luai and doesn’t get swayed by IM as I think he probably is very happy at the Tigers. The NRL media morons would be over the moon if this gets dragged out and becomes another IM orchestrated fiasco

Most likely it's to do with the fact if we take up the option, Moses still doesn't get a cut as he didn't negotiate that contract. ( unless Bula and him negotiated something)

i agree, it’s time to cut the cord on him.
from what i can tell the only players left with moses is Bula & Sukkar
hopefully we take up the option (even tho $900k is overs) so moses doesn’t get a cut & refuse to take on any further IM clients just like the roosters do
if moses moves Bula on there’s plenty of fullbacks in the league

I think he has way too many good players on his books for us to do that wed really restrict our options...like shopping only at IGA and giving all the other grocery meat and veg outlets a miss

You can’t blacklist a player agent. Not one as influential as Moses. It’s up to the club to work out some compromise in regards to how to deal with him.

Apparently it’s about a mutual option agreement for the 27 season which has to be actions prior to Nov 1 this year otherwise effectively he goes to market.
If we take the option it’s a $900k extension.
If we pause and Bula takes the option it’s an $800k extension.
If no one takes the option he goes to market.
Interesting point re Moses and the original contract. Moses would prefer a new contract in that case so he gets paid.
I guess watch this space..

Don’t agree black ban him. He will never guide a player to stay with us. He may let them develop here only to sell them off to a ‘strong club’. FACT.
So thinking otherwise is a mistake.
The power move to do is ban him like the rooters and raiders have. The more teams do this, the less power he has, simples.

Because it's the tigers and we won...
They need another story to try kick us back down

I'd imagine Moses is gauging the market for clubs to see if there is any willing to pay more than $800K for Bula over multiple years.

Unfortunately he has Sukkar, Godinet and a few others I'm aware of in the Wests pathways too - Peter Ta'ai, Jhevon Lele & the Finau brothers for starters.

I do not see why we would not take the option which means the case closed?
