OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

[InBenjiWeTrust]

Wild takes.

it's his first year at a club coming off three spoons.

His origin days are probably over so now he can focus on how to elevate the Tigers.

Seasons almost over but its early days for Luai.

"The grass is always greener on the other side"?

Really did u watch the hole game

Yep, it's called Golf, I think. Tiger Woods was a leg end. Not sure signing Api as the Front 9 and letting our Back 9 in TDS go was a great idea. But I hate the Bunker for rooning the game, as a hole game. 🤪 🤪 🤪 🍺 🍺 🍺 🐯 🐯 🐯 ⛳⛳⛳

Anyone see Harry Grant play tonight?

Does Jerome have a performance like that in him?

I think so but haven’t seen one for a while.

they play different positions so that’s a start

[Merlot]

The players you named just need to run onto the ball harder and think quick PTB more often. Both can ball play but their first thought needs to be run aggressively. Against Roosters they had that mindset.

its not a bad team at all , just needs to harden up, put some rough house fugglyness into their efforts

Do they? 🙂

Just hoping for that high level performance, aren’t you?

Some might say it’s overdue?

If he doesn't, hopefully Api does

Speaking of Roosters and mindset.

So the talk is DCE signing with the Roosters, because hey they have the cash.

Then the talk is DCE becoming a coaching assistant. Right, because they want to lure him there and heck he will be a great halves coach. ... So Cooper Cronk, who seems to be on TV everywhere but Laurie Daily can't be an assistant with us because of his TV commitments... will be free.

Would love Cronk here as an assistant or coach. He has the right mindset.

id love it too, Cronk & Benji have a good relationship surprisingly.

Cronk is the Roosters halves "consultant" yet the last Roosters half to play to his ability is Cooper Cronk.
He also continually mocks the club. If you only listened to the sound of Sunday's win you would've sworn we lost by 50.
So yeah, nah, we don't need him giving Romey the Tom tits like he gives everyone else listening to his commentary.

Gronk is a myth, Smith and Slater were the stars for the Storm. Then he went to a stacked Roosters team with one of the great forward packs, the title he won for them he was playing with one arm which shows just how any prick could have starred behind that pack, John Morris would have won that title.

What I don’t get is how lately there’s talk of coaching jobs promised after they retire but when we suggested it with Farrah we got fined money from our cap.

[hank37w]

it was againt the last placed titans, anyone can look impressive against them to be fair. Lets hope he can do it against better teams

You mean to say we were impressive against the Titans. 🤣

We really didn't deserve to win that, we were shit.

Yes he does mock this club.

But Sam Walker/Sandon Smith have been decent and improved. I like that Cronk hasn't turned Sam walker into another Cooper Cronk.

Chad Townsend did not improve... But I won't blame Cronk for that.

I was thinking that the other day. I think the difference is we didn't divulge it to the auditor, but after investigation, it should have been fine.

All clubs have the ability to offer jobs after footy so there is no huge advantage one club gets over another and a huge amount of ex-players are working at their old clubs in some capacity. As long as the salary is commensurate with the position, I don't see a big issue with it.

Of all the things to fine us for, that was a witch hunt.

Haha as if Cronk would ever lower himself to walk into this club.

Yet you keep coming on here & engaging about said club.

Cronk is an elitist who talks about the club with disdain. You must not be very familiar with him.

[Telltails]

Takes courage to put your reputation on the line at this club.

[bigsiro]

I was so excited when we signed this guy. He is the biggest star we ever signed and still think it was an unbelievable coup to get him.

But with the first season nearly done, he has been entirely underwhelming.

He isn’t a disaster, but because of the hype and the price tag, unless form changes, he may go down in Adam Blair class of infamy.
