Bennett wants KatoaDolphins have Katoa, they don't need another 7
All I’ve heard over the last few weeks is Ryles coach of the year and Iongi buy of the year.I reckon Ryles is almost coach of the year given how well he’s got them playing. Remember their opening half of the opening round in Melbourne - they were terrible, played like a Sydney Shield team.
I take your point about certain positions they still need to strengthen but given a fair crack with injuries, I see the Eels pushing strongly for a finals berth in 26.
It's Benji's Plan B.... OR game management that's questionable! Taking advice? Player rotations? The coach is the last piece of the puzzle in my opinion. We have sacked so many coaches and kept playing with mediocre sides expecting better results.
The coach needs the players first and foremost. Any team in the top 4 aren't trotting out sides like we've had in the past.
Our recruitment has been pretty good and Benji will either have them winning or he'll be replaced. At least we will have a team capable of winning games off the bat instead of having to wait 3 years for the new coach to rebuild the squad which is going to be infinitely harder with a 19 team competition.
they got lapped 40 points by the raiders last week, people have short memoriesAll I’ve heard over the last few weeks is Ryles coach of the year and Iongi buy of the year.
It shows how reactionary rugby league is and how short everyone’s memory is. Parra have been good for about 4-5 weeks. They were terrible before that.
They’re still in the bottom 4 and some experts had them finishing in the top 8 at the start of the season. How could Ryles even been considered for coach of the year. In what world?
Sure they’ve shown they’re on the right track and had a good month, but let’s not forget the rest of the season?
BREAKING: Jerome Luai had given his strongest indication yet that he is going to see out the full length of his contract at the Wests Tigers. Full story @9NewsSyd
that’s Danny Wielder so god knows what he’s talking abt
True, but it is also a statement of belief in where the club is heading. Not saying that's good or bad but imagine what we could do with 1.2m?

what could we do? we have a mill in the cap already that was offered to Galvin & Reynolds there’s no one to buyNot saying that's good or bad but imagine what we could do with 1.2m?
Kidding aren’t you.BREAKING NEWS: Tumeth extends for 3 years
Dogs defensive line speed is super quick, one could say it is to quick to be legal, on the other hand ours is the slowest in the comp by some distance. So we are giving away yardage in every defensive set and we are losing yardage in every attacking set. Seriously, although we have selected probably our best 17 in months, I still think the Dogs will grind us big time.I can't judge the success of Luais signing until we actually get a real forward pack. Cleary on Saturday night behind our guys would have done no better. We don't have a pack. I give our guys a white hot shot at beating the dogs, they're pack arnt huge so we won't get dominated as much as we did against the Panthers, the problem we will have is they seem faster than the Panthers forwards so I'm keen to see how our pack goes.
Moses Mbye with 200k to spare. Not saying that's good or bad but imagine what we could do with 1.2m?
Gee up.is that tumeth news true? I thought it was a gee up
Mapapalangi. Hopefully.Who’s a better option at right centre?
So you agree he shouldn't play first grade for another 2 years and is a wasted spot in the top 30. Good.Subjective opinion. Many disagree.
Yep, that'll happen when you're a junior, defensive based edge who isn't given much ball.
He had 1 on the weekend. So.... false.
Define 'small and weak', because he's objectively neither.
Hahahahahahahaha.... you mean like I suggested two pages ago?
Hahahaha, Doueihi has started half a game there. Sukkar's been there for 5 mins and Seyfarth has been on the bench for the past month. Stop over-simplifying things incorrectly 😂
Stop pretending like I'm making the counter argument to this. I made a comment on Sukkar being well suited to the middle in a couple of years, who are you swinging at?
I trust ur opinion do you think fermor is a good addition ? I worry abt titans players they just don’t put the effort in to defend and a lot of inconsistencyOk over to you Benji, Shannon & Richo ...
Parramatta have distanced themselves from luring Queensland State of Origin backrower Beau Fermor from the Titans.
Fermor’s future on the Gold Coast has been the subject of uncertainty in recent weeks with the 26-year-old believed to be frustrated at the club’s lack of on-field excellence.
There have been suggestions across the game that Fermor had requested a release from the final year of his Titans deal, or had at least asked for permission to talk with rival clubs before November 1, however Gold Coast management have denied that is the case to this masthead.
I would be targeting Pezet and Jett Cleary.Jonah Pezet is now available given Hughes has extended at the Storm.
