Back on topic, would Jonathan Sua be a good addition to add competition for positions in our outside backs ?
No… we got two spots left and they are looking for NRL level forwards ,,,.. we are good for NSW Cup backs

Easy to downplay Galvin given how things turned out, but that was also a big deal. Bula as well.So Makasini hey …
Biggest debut game since ….?
Brooks maybe ? Certainly bigger than Galvin…
bula, Tedesco. So excitingSo Makasini hey …

I would argue makasini has been talked up much more than Galvin was...especially with Rugby chasing him.Easy to downplay Galvin given how things turned out, but that was also a big deal. Bula as well.
I completely agree..Ok thanks.
Assuming that is true, can you really blame Galvin knowing there would have been and was plenty of other clubs who would give him an opportunity in the halves.
Not sure if there is any truth to that statement as why would Richo then offer Galvin 1 million per season to stay ?
Anyway it’s now old news, but just doesn’t make a lot of sense.

I didn’t say Galvin was. I said we shouldn’t become revisionists all because he did the dirty on the club,I would argue makasini has been talked up much more than Galvin was...especially with Rugby chasing him.

We have Makasini and Luke Laulilli in addition to our current NRL back 5.So Makasini hey …

He extended with the Sharks late last year.Is Oregon Kaufusi off contract?
Quik google search suggests so unless hes been extended this year
For me, it’s a bit anti climactic being the last round. It’s not like if he plays well, we’ll see him back up the next week. He might not even play round 1 next season. In saying that, it’s good that he’s getting a shot. This is opinions only …no wrong or right answers … Im talking about the anticipation prior to the game …Galvin was big …but Maka seems bigger … I would say Bula not so much …although my memory of that isn’t great …
Tedesco was huge …was at that game …. Not a good memory
Just watched Tago on Terrells podcast. We have Makasini and Luke Laulilli in addition to our current NRL back 5.
You need two more top 30 outside backs and you would hope they are both players who will at least come into contention for NRL selection.
Jake Tago another one that could be useful on the minimum wage.
I reckon he’s under rated, runs the ball just as powerfully as someone like Taylan May and watching that interview he sounds like he’s matured as a person and would relish the chance of trying to break into an NRL team containing some of his very close mates.Just watched Tago on Terrells podcast.
They're close. Seems like a perfect fit.
He can take Naden's spot.

Honestly was thinking the same...I reckon he’s under rated, runs the ball just as powerfully as someone like Taylan May and watching that interview he sounds like he’s matured as a person and would relish the chance of trying to break into an NRL team containing some of his very close mates.
Absolutely agree we are 1 or 2 backs short for a top 30 especially taking into account that none of our development players are outside backs and those 2 are 18 and 19.We have Makasini and Luke Laulilli in addition to our current NRL back 5.

The 3 you have mentioned are surely headed for the exit door. What’s happened to Lobb, Mapapalangii and IIzaac Tuituopo ?
We aren’t going to have the whole NSW Cup side in the Top 30 …
The 3 you have mentioned are surely headed for the exit door.
Lobb has shown some improvement this season, but you would think his position is essentially being taken be Tino Tavana.
We need to aim higher than those 2 in my opinion.Absolutely agree we are 1 or 2 backs short for a top 30 especially taking into account that none of our development players are outside backs and those 2 are 18 and 19.
We do have Mapapalangi and Tuitupo from cup who may win a spot as backup if we don't sign anyone
