If the reports have been true, we clearly are chasing another fullback to fit into our system. We were supposedly after that Bryenton who went to Dogs aswell. Good identification by the club. Having an Attard/Brookes in Flegg and Cup would be good to have genuine fullbacks in the role.

I have watched it many times and have been to several games in the US… I can appreciate the strategies more than most Aussies I would imagine …even if I don’t consider myself an “expert”..

The biggest issue to me is that they play 160 odd games in the regular season which diminishes the value of any one game result…leading to only the playoff games having genuine meaning in terms to watching / attending a game

Secondly … it’s hard to hit that fast moving breaking ball with that broom handle … which leads to long periods of very little happening ,,,,like today…

Let's paint a totally unrealistic worst case scenario. Luai struggling for form, 10 straight losses, Marshall fired, Richo died of a heart attack, Latu perennially injured, Pole still struggling, Hunt reaches 130kg, Terrell injured long term, Taylan jailed long term, club struggling financially with media reports questioning if we can afford to pay players.

Could be worse, we could have Tyrone Munro on the books. 🤣

He wont get that money anywhere but here. Hes not going anywhere although those BS clauses need to go.

I don't have an issue with any player having a coaching clause in their contract, as it is the most fundamental component relationship wise.

I don't think for a second he would be expecting to get a pay rise from us, regardless of what happens between now and round 10 (I think the deadline is, just from memory. Could be way off).

There could be plenty of other stuff happen between now and then that I could see resulting in him abandoning ship. Why would you not wait as insurance against that?

All Luai had to do was wait a few months and he could have avoided being tied to that for another year. In what situation is signing early the better option for him?

It is so unreasonable to expect him to do so that if he did, sure, most of me would think heck yeah thats the commitment we want from a leader but a part of me would go is this bloke stupid? And he is supposed to be a leader here?

Much better to watch live, especially with a few beers. You can go to the batting cage before the game and try to slug 30 pitches or so too. Saw a few matches in Japan and they were a lot of fun.

To the naked eye. A great Test Match is absorbing. Especially on the final day. You won’t find more tension in any other sport.

Apparently needs surgery after the Roo tour...wayne convinced him to go.
Will miss 3 months...not sure if thats next sesson of from surgery
