They’re not ! That’s the point of what tiger balls said . Only @crazycat seems to have taken a leaf out of the Murdoch media playbook. Make a story up . Talk about said story , then convince yourself and everyone around about how outrageous said story is that you made up lol .

Too many people living in a fantasy world believing our current team is almost perfect once we sign a mystery 13 or middle ?
News Flash a mysterious superstar 13 or middle signing is not available, won’t be happening anytime soon and after paying our superstars we won’t have enough funds to pay any nysterious superstar 13 or middle even if they were available.
So we will be largely reliant on the playing group we already have and in horse racing teams they would need to improve 10 lengths to make the top 8.
Anyway it is what it is and it’s quite obvious some of our supporter base have become accustomed to finishing well outside the top 8 and don’t have any issue for it to keep happening for another 3-5 years.
If our management and the HBG are aware our supporters couldn’t care less if we keep missing the top 8, why would or why should they care ?

The core group of players are young ,smart athletic RL players if they want to be - its up to them and nobody else . I think the club may turn a corner in a few years ,

Yes the young core group have plenty of talent and if we can keep them together and add some high end marquee talent to complement them we will be one very successful sooner than later.
Do we currently have the right high end marquee talent ?
2026 will be an another opportunity for them to prove it.
I can’t say I’m confident but, plenty of our supporters including quite a few on this forum believe we do.
Let’s see if they are correct.

Yes, but it also gives the Poms a look at our side. It gives them an idea what they are in for.
Additionally, a lot of these guys would have got a run against us for their clubs.

we have potentially top end talent but not 1 established, were any decent club would have 3
Bare in mind we are coming from a very low base and need to work outwards with smarts
2 decades of crap , just a few more years kinda .I dont know what ,
Be more than happy with a 51 % win rate

I don’t understand what you expect? it’s like people forget that the base we are starting at is 3 wooden spoons in a row. These things take time & roster building isn’t an overnight exercise I mean it’s evident for all to see how bad the previous administration were when we have yet another player from Sheens golden era joining the top 30 off of all the ridiculous contracts he handed out. That’s the base that we have had to build off. Benji & Richo have done a pretty good job at identifying what the team needs and taking steps to address those concerns.

FWIW. I had honestly thought that AD had signed with Issac Moses, due to reading articles that said this. I'm wrong, AD just gave Moses permission to reach out to clubs on his behalf and 'test the market'. Then he did the deal himself, no agent as I understand.

Glad to be wrong.

No, the three peat of spoons is not the base we are building off.
The base was what Madge left. The spoons were earned through incompetence at every level after that. The new blokes this year aren’t to blame, but everyone else played their role.
