Tackling bags?I was messing around, making potential line ups for cup and first grade.
I didn't have either of them making either squad.
Interesting to see how they're used next year.

Ron Massey Cup ??Mason will be 14 in Cup
I simply called out the ones I thought were laughable
Think it was the Raiders game RHS. They ran at his right shoulder early in the game and scored. Did it twice more in the first half for 2 more tries. Was like a highway to the tryline for anyone in green. I don't like knocking a bloke who is doing his best to play NRL football but one on one tackling in the backline really should be a prerequisite. Can't remember which game in 1st grade it was but his defense lost us the game, from memory 3 bad misses where he let attackers through the line.
Bula hardly presents any threats to top 8 opposition defences with his attack or with his kick returns - maybe slightly more with clubs in the lower 8 but that's offset by his weaknesses in other areas. The attack without Bula isn’t good enough. No point strengthening the pack with his money if there is no spark out the back & no tries being scored.
Not saying the young lad from Penrith isn’t good enough to take over but id keep expectations realistic with him. Penrith decided to keep & extend another young fullback that’s a similar age over Attard. Certainly doesn’t mean he’s a bad player but he’s a long way off Bula for at least 2 or 3 seasons IMO
Get a better glasses or TV Chunky?Relax man.
To me, atm, KPP is only an international by name but not ability. Go and have a look at his PCM and tackle bust stats compared to these other guys?
He isn't better the any of the players, I have mentioned, starting and/or coming of the bench and that's over thirty players.
Which ones are laughable?
18Mason will be 14 in Cup
Yup - I'd like another hooker. There was least a couple of decent backup options that IMO we should have gone for - now no longer available. So that's the NSW cup and back up fullback sorted...
1. Jack Attard
6. Javon Andrews
7. Jock Madden
9. Tristan Hope
Throw in some other options, our cup team and depth is going to be an upgrade in 2026.
Who?Yup - I'd like another hooker. There was least a couple of decent backup options that IMO we should have gone for - now no longer available.
Proper back ups - ie ones that are happy to play cup but can provide some value filling in when needed.
Hope, while he seems like a decent and hard working guy, just doesn't cut it.
I literally have answered this already . Like I said some dudes on here , just regurgitate the same things over and over .Relax man.

for minimum wage and 1 year, yes, could be our 14 and give Api a 10 min break each half.Soni Luke anyone?
More of the same ? Re. The same design ? Or the new designs are very meh ?Youll be disappointed
When he was out, we couldn't score points and looked horrible. When he came back we started to string some performances and points again. It's not rocket science what the difference wasBula hardly presents any threats to top 8 opposition defences with his attack or with his kick returns - maybe slightly more with clubs in the lower 8 but that's offset by his weaknesses in other areas.
Like it or not, he is who we signed for that role. Could we have done better? Yes. But Benji decided to re-sign Hope for some reason. They expect Haywood to come on fairly quickly I thinkYup - I'd like another hooker. There was least a couple of decent backup options that IMO we should have gone for - now no longer available.

A bit to unpack here.Wasn’t me who made those comparisons, a guy made a list saying all these players were better. I simply called out the ones I thought were laughable . And I brought up the confirmation bias and how annoying it is . “Im right because of my opinion . This is my opinion of the reason I’m right “ like seriously wtf!
I simply stated facts . The nrl has deemed KPP to be to the value of 550-650k . Which puts him in the probably 80th percentile , maybe higher .
People can once again convince themselves they’re right by making excuses like , “we were bidding against ourselves “ or whatever stupidity they want to come up with . In the end , the market dictated that he’s valuable . I personally value his skill set , but like others I hope he can improve his explosiveness off the mark .
It’s really annoying seeing the same people always bag our signings no matter what quality they are , constantly being contrarians .especially when I know most of these lounge chair experts have never laced a boot on in their life , been around a club , coached , or done anything really other than voyeur a game from the comfort of their lounge for X amount of years .
KPP is a great signing. Strong defensively , stands in tackles , has gravitational force on the field - what do I mean by that . He attracts players and demands respect . Some players simply don’t have that . Seyfarth is one of those players . Most of our edge backrowers have been that way . Even Ice , the opposition didn’t respect him like we all thought they would . Probably because the guys outside him were shit , so they knew where ball was going , but still . KPP has that gravitational force on the field . In fact most of that right edge does. Turuva/Skelton/Makasini , Makasini/May/Toa, KPP, and whichever of AD and Fainu, with Bula out the back . Each player should create space for the next . Which we haven’t had for years , as teams can ignore 1 or more attacking threat and slide or jam up on the ones who are.
They're both bums.I was on it the other day the popular opinion was that Salmon should be released before Curran
It's pace and skill. We don't have much. So attack is pedestrian when our faster players are unavailable. When he was out, we couldn't score points and looked horrible. When he came back we started to string some performances and points again. It's not rocket science what the difference was
