Lol It's a bit extreme to suggest it's untenable?Seems likely. Puts Richo in an untenable position.
Is that confirmed?Nah it’s from an employee .
I’m talking about if HBG are behind the claim.Lol It's a bit extreme to suggest it's untenable?
If they determine that the contract was fine, we move on.
If every conflict deemed everything untenable the world would be at a standstill
It seems HBG have been maintaining a dossier on Richo since he started, like this has been all part of the plan 🤬I’m talking about if HBG are behind the claim.
Theres too much orange in their posts!!Yeah Mumbrella specialist agency of the year. Dodgy as. Do you think walk ups to ad agencies in Sydney are CHEAP?
Socials have been outstanding, changing the perception of the club. Can't have that here.
Richo is not a member of the board, as CEO as long as he discloses the conflict of interest he can be involved in the decision making, however he would need to follow proper governance and ensure that he is not making the decisions in isolation and once the board were made aware of the conflict than they have a duty to ensure all dealings he has are above board. If Richo decelared his conflict of interest, as it appears, he would be removed from any decision making process involving the company - it is standard business practice. So if contracts have been let etc, unless Richo has been influencing other board members for big contracts or the selection process that has been undetaken for smaller "quote" style services he will be in the clear. This is highly likely someone throwing mud, possibly at the behest of a third party, to create an unstable environment and potentially push Richo to make a move.
Why , and have a enjoyable life. lol. Nah, ive accepted this club brings misery to supporters with inept decisions that only highlight how dysfunctional it really is. But in saying that i will always support this team.can we just fold?
Can't wait for the Jarome Luai will he stay or will he go then the Bula circus will be bubbling along and then the Marshall circus will rear its ugly head me thinks 2026 could be a right off already. All things considered.I regrettably cant see him staying
Huge setback for the footy club..these guys with their experience and skills just dont fall out of trees
Mind you...hes been set of for failure by HBG
Dont think this will end well for the footy team, which is all were concerned about
Maybe we could change our name to the Balmain Magpies to see if the that makes Maggies fans happy.
I guess it depends on the particular rules, certainly where I have been involved the party with the conflict could speak on techical issues and be involved in assisting the decision makers - but has no part to play in the decsion making process. As CEO he would be required to appoint an "assessment team" for a tender/contract and the subsequent nogotiations and take recommendations to the board if required.Richo is not a member of the board, as CEO as long as he discloses the conflict of interest he can be involved in the decision making, however he would need to follow proper governance and ensure that he is not making the decisions in isolation and once the board were made aware of the conflict than they have a duty to ensure all dealings he has are above board.
My question is if it was at any other club would there be a song and dance over it and who blew the whistle someone from HBG.It'll be hard to determine what "inflated" looks like.
If we paid rich digital 30% more than we could have paid with company X, it isn't grounds for dismissal.. because heaper doesn't always mean better..
If rich digital were 1000% more expensive for the same service, then yeah Richo should be worried. But I highly doubt its anywhere near a number like that
At the end of the day, it's a reactive accusation from HBG after being told that the NSW liquor and gaming would investigate them..
They are scum..
I'm going to have to find a way to make this protest next weekend..
coooorect ... lolisn’t Todd Liubinskas - who the media are suggesting is the new potential CEO - the son of a HBG director????
Agree Jolls, the fact that he disclosed should mean the right processes were in place.I guess it depends on the particular rules, certainly where I have been involved the party with the conflict could speak on techical issues and be involved in assisting the decision makers - but has no part to play in the decsion making process. As CEO he would be required to appoint an "assessment team" for a tender/contract and the subsequent nogotiations and take recommendations to the board if required.
Some boards may have a more relaxed interpretation so it may not run that way in every organisation.
I think the key thing to take away is that the conflict of interest was declared prior to taking the job and processes should have been in place to protect both Wests Tigers and Richo.
If they weren't then he may have a problem.
How many dossiers linked to WT this year ??! CrazyIt seems HBG have been maintaining a dossier on Richo since he started, like this has been all part of the plan 🤬
My question is if it was at any other club would there be a song and dance over it and who blew the whistle someone from HBG.
If as just mentioned it was a ridiculous amount of money for the job done, then Houston we have a problem and it really does flip the script.
That then comes back to the directors sacked we are still in the dark over it hope it's not too long for some transparency over this decision.
Boy what a mess it just keeps getting worse and worse, only at Wests Tigers people geez.
