HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

Nope.

Not this time.

Anyone defending these actions is in the crosshairs.

Fans are done with HBG - this will not be swept under the rug. Something has to give this time.

Go get 'em.
You must be one of the good guys on here as far as the Mods. are concerned.
I got a short time suspension for the use of those words "in the cross hairs".
Someone complained about it bitterly.

The informant
Mick Liubinskas is everything you want in a "clubman"
Loyal and hardworking and loves his club....doesnt matter how.many games he played.

Funny thing everyones missing is its his son Todd theyre.talking about....and.i think its a gee up
Has to be a gee up but it is HBG

Yeah fair enough, Danika’s ex. Wonder what went wrong, well we can probably work it out considering he might be HBGs ‘man’

I’m only talking about the old people that are problematic.

You’re obviously old, but not problematic.

Well done to your parents BTW. So close to the tonne!
When I am old,

Damn right I am going to be Problematic!
Cmon it's the one good thing about being old. Those Aquard questions that turn everyone silent.
The "dad, you can't say that here".

Stuff that. Man if I am going to die at any time. I am going to say the most embarrissing crap and enjoy watching people squirm!!!

#PPS this also doubles as my nomination to the Wests Tigers board of Directors.

The more I look into this, the more it wreaks.

Below is a video posted from the official Wests Tigers channel discussing both stadiums and explicitly discusses 10 year + 5 year options for both stadiums.

Here is an announcement made on the official website on 25 August. https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2025/08/25/wests-tigers-announce-long-term-stadium-strategy/

Quote: The agreement – subject to the finalisation of detailed commercial terms – reaffirms the club’s commitment to the Inner West and South West communities that it represents on a national stage.

HBG could have jumped in at any moment around the commercial terms. They were not finalised.

The funding for both stadiums has been in the news from before Richo took over from memory. We've been trying to get upgrades for years. Why would we push for upgrades if we never intended to play there?
He also said regularly and publicly from the outset he didn’t expect any meddling from HBG so hopefully that was documented too.

Abuse isn't ok, Vish.

I'm of the opinion that no individual is bigger than the club. There are enough facts, currently, for justified views and rhetoric around the defence of the club that we have all grown to love.

The particulars don't matter in many ways given the pattern of behaviour from these owners.

This is the straw, therefore any defence or justification this time around will likely fall on deaf ears.

Abuse - no.

Uncompromised pressure for permanent change - 8 days a week.
Very well said Kelce68. Stamp out the abuse.

Sorry this is not a pro Balmain approach. It is a pro Wests Tigers approach. HBG has to go
Exactly.

Look some are rusted on with this Wests vs Balmain argument. I strongly suspect and heck HBG hinted that it was the Orange (lighter shade) in the Jersey that partly lead to this.

Bring Barry back and toss HBG. Sadly it will be harder without their money, but easier without their nonsense.

The Magpie is only a distraction from the long-time poor performance of our ownership.

How can you say that if Laundy takes up the sale there will be far more money than what HBG have at hand.

Ahhhh the HBG just got grubbier...if thats possible...

Apparently a "whistleblower" has reported Richardson to the NRL Integrity unit over an alleged possible fraudulent act by Richardson to his sons marketing company who does all the WT marketing....

Is this the HBG trying to sack Richardson and save having to pay him out a 7 figure sum if he quits?....would not surprise me....would not surprise...

I'm with you mate, however impropriety is evident on both sides.

What I hope is that two foundation clubs ( both 1908 clubs ) come together and rule the NRL!

Garry I enjoyed when you called out Burgess and said we're coming for you, although personally I would have finished the sentence by licking down the full length of a Bowie knife. I feel it could have had more impact that way.

If you need further great ideas, I'm here for you.

Yeah man, it was maturing way back in May before this https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/ti...espite-government-pledge-20240519-p5jeuf.html

This is in the article

The Wests Tigers have refused to commit their future to Leichhardt Oval despite reports of a $50 million government pledge to redevelop the iconic suburban ground. The club will hold a board meeting on Monday to discuss its future stadium strategy and is not in a position to commit to playing any games at Leichhardt.

“If this funding is available it will be taken into consideration with our stadium plan, which we are meeting tomorrow morning in Brisbane to discuss at our regular board meeting,” Richardson said.

Lets see the minutes if Dennis was in the room and if he reminded everyone to ratify with HBD before any final decisions.

Board interactions are not one-directional. They need to flow both ways!

These people are the scum of the earth - gutless whistle blower patting himself on the back - against the bloke who secured funding for the two suburban grounds so the fans can continue to support them and drove a profit for the first time.
They just wasted more money paying out Wayde after unceremoniously dumping him on the back of accusations along with the two others that were banned for supporting the external review. Now they are trying their best to get out of paying out another employee who they have undermined.
This is what they do. How anyone would want them anywhere near their NRL club is mind boggling - at the expense of Shane Richardson - and still some want to give them the benefit of the doubt.
