HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

No it is not “evident on both sides”. The BS claim by Paton about not HBG being consulted on WT board decisions does not stand up to scrutiny considering the fact that HBG has two representatives who, by all accounts, were in attendance at all meetings.

As for the BS today about Richo? He declared a conflict of interest almost immediately and no issues were raised until after HBG launched their coup on the WT board. An “anonymous” whistleblower just happens to make a report to the NRL at the same time HBG sack all the independent directors and Richo may be due for a two year payout if he resigns as CEO? Because that’s not suspicious or conveniently timed at all lol

Let’s use a bit of critical thinking, please.

I'm on your side mate, but it doesn't look good for Shane and his son.

Do you think in not aware of the gravity of the situation?

Did you miss the bit where i said too many are jumping to all sorts of conclusions...ie shadows

People are talking about merging with brisbane tigers, perth bears, worried itll be the balmain bulldogs... going off 3/4 cocked...its a bit extreme

Good onya for spreading the word
Yes...this type of rhetoric is not only stupid it is unfounded.

The NRL will not strip HBG of the licence and suddenly hand it to the Fiji Flyers or whatever other thing people have jn their mind.

Either we get the status quo as it is today or the move to force a sale to new owners.

Either way, the Wests Tigers will continue. 2030 becomes interesting if HBG maintain ownership because the heritage agreement expires meaning they have no obligation to maintain the agreed heritage set forth at the time of the merger.

This imo is the end game, they are positioning themselves now to consolidate in preparation. They have 3 more years they can prepare. I believe the N.R.L will refuse anything other than the Wests Tigers, but iv no doubt HBG are going to give it a white hot crack.
