Not a vital point, but interesting you mention Denis's hairdo. I was speaking to an ex Magpies first grader this morning, and he mentioned he'd met Dennis years ago at Lidcombe oval . . . and for some reason patted him, or "ruffed him up" on his head . . . and he said it was def a wig. I’ve always liked Chamnas.
Many fans don’t like his brutal blunt honesty, but he is the most impartial of all the current rugby league journos in my opinion.

He should have stayed for at least a couple of weeks longer to see if any positive news eventuates.
He knew how much he meant to the the majority of Wests Togers fans.
I understand his rejlationship with HBG had become untenable, but he didn’t have to communicate with anyone from HBG, just hang around a bit longer honour the support he received from many WT fans and who knows what will eventuate over the next couple of weeks.
