Why would Makasini want to sign a contract extension for 2028 and beyond at this point? What incentive is there?

Bula has had a long ,long time to evaluate extension of 1 year,2 years and 4 years..all around 900k,which is more than his market value as about the 12th best fb in the NRL
He has chosen not to do take up any of these opportunities with WTs,and wait for our option for 27 to expire
Oor only decision is whether club takes up its option for 27
and seperatly.... if we cld trade Godinet for someone non Moses managed Id be inclined to push that

No, its not. Its an acknowledgement that he might want to keep some options open regarding where he wants to play but also contract length and amount. I think most would do the same. You're not usually this reactionary GNR

How many 18 years who have played one game, turn down million dollar contract extensions if they aren’t looking to leave. Call me crazy, but I feel like we went through this same situation not even a year ago.

Plenty of time to see how he develops for a more accurate assessment of his worth.
Instead of guessing and speculation what his future may be.
Any player at his age and potential would do the same.

If he turns down a near million dollar a season offer at 18, he has grander plans. Would have thought some of you would have learned how to read the signs after last year. Apparently not.
