so the contract on the cap is over a mill.

these have all been miraculously done wihtin a week after luai left. lol

which means that we were trying to negoatie before hand -- we couldnt close the gap -- then we basically gave the what they wanted bc everyone can say "we will wait for PNG now"

Or everything had been agreed to but it couldn't be signed off of until there was cap space. Discussions with Luai's camp had been on going so everyone was very confident there would be cap space coming soon.
Everything with Luai becomes official so SM rings everyone and says alright contracts are now ready to sign.
I believe this is far more likely given a) I don't believe there was cap space otherwise and b) if it was agents putting the squeeze on Tigers because there is now suddenly more money available, these continued negotiations would probably have taken longer.

I wouldn’t have been overly bothered either way but keeping the team together can only be a good thing given our recent form

In a game missing our whole edge, which is where the game was lost, I am not overly concerned about our season prospects let alone future with this team.

I hope we can re-sign the Fainu’s on a longer deal along with Turuva. A signing like Leniu, if true, would also be significant. Mid-season would be great given we have lost Samuela for a while.

I think Leniu could be PNG’s next signing. He and Luai are tight.
