Do any of you know if cup or flegg are typically considered a better development ground?
Ie if the player had the choice of both, all things being equally what is better? Is it more about the strength of a team, eg crap cup team then leave the young player in Flegg? How about combo’s, does that come into it.

Does each club see it the same way?

Is cup substantially higher than Flegg?

NSW Cup is the grade below first grade. Generally Ron Massey and Flegg feed into NSW Cup. Flegg is under 21s.

Great performance from the boys after a few weeks off & new set of halves from the past few matches.

The match stats back up that we were the dominant side despite the close scoreline.

Haywood & Attard were all class and were best on field. But really, I couldn't knock any of our players.

Huahulu & Glassie continue to excel on the wings with their carries & tackle busts. Glassie was put on report late for a shoulder charge/high shot so hopefully he is not suspended.

Tauaifaiga was great especially with his defensive reads at left centre. Both backrowers Mitch Taotua & Godinet were dominant as was Jericho-Talisau at lock, arguably his best game so far.

Taupau-Moors was a beast up front & Duncombe was his usual lead-from-the-front self.

Another big test this week against the Panthers 1 point behind us in 3rd.
