2026 refereeing thread

I would just like to see the same rules applied by the ref / bunker to each team during the entire game.

Stop having bias, which we all can blatantly see, towards the certain fancied teams.

If team on top of ladder is playing team on bottom of ladder, the rules should be applied, evenly fairly , without fear or favour to both teams.

History has consistently shown it is the opposite.

Mate, the whole comp is biased and dare I say, in some cases maybe scripted ???
But as a pleb club not much we can do except win.
Commenting about refs will get us nowhere.

That wouldn't be fair to the rich.
 
That Curran try ( knock down ) was a fair try. Sometimes the ref's err in our favour or just their ineptitude.

Like the Kurt Mann call at dummy half. Terrible call. First half 17 mins in. Canterbury penalty- that is - Canterbury being rewarded for Mann falling asleep at the wheel.

How can anyone have faith in a admitted gambler officiating a sport that has a huge gambling sector presence?
How can anyone be sure he hasn't influenced the result of games to his financial advantage, as some of his decisions are puzzling to say the least.

Seyfarth makes a try saving tackle. He does not have time to think. Just save the try. But gets penalised for the ref bieved he knew what he was doing to get his body in that position- yet in reality.- it was a reflex.

Is the game becoming too WOKE?
