Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Given our injury list , Alverillo would be a great get early but as others have said do the Finn’s let him go when still looking to go top 4 , injuries can come in big bunches like ours so probably not going to happen , Blore could be a chance but again melb back on the rise so again doubtful, Lenui from chooks I would think a 1 1/2 year deal could happen , Parra got cash so every chance , I’m not sure we sign anyone prior to June 30 , 1 week to go and Kade7 hasn’t mentioned anything and is usually pretty spot on , we could do with a centre and a Backrower , that’s for sure , props I think if Bunty stays in firsts he will get better as he goes , May , Pole , Bunty is not bad , adding Blore would fill Backrow and prop back up , not sure who else would be available , but to get to the finals I think we def need to add , if we loose May Jnr and another from the pack we are no chance , this week will tell the story on how our season will go , Newcastle been strong although just got home on last few games but they got home , we should have finished the Finn’s off last week but couldn’t , that shows we need more , AD back is good for sure but I can’t expect miracles from one player , Twally will make a difference as he seems to just do 100% every game regardless of, AD may need a game or 2 to get back to where he was but dropping loses will hurt us , we need at least 6 more wins and the bye , tuff road ahead , but you just never know .

It clearly demonstrates the complete bias of the ARL...shld have fined the player instead under the circumstances
Cld u imagine Panthers or Roosters getting treated like that??
Agendas are becoming very transparent
Canberra Raiders star Daine Laurie was a surprise omission from the Green Machine's line-up to face the St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday.

Laurie has played nine games for the Raiders this year, making his club debut in Round 8 against his former side, the Wests Tigers.

It has now been revealed by The Canberra Times that the NRL's Integrity Unit has handed the star utility a one-match suspension for a preseason incident.

He will also be given an undisclosed fine and education from the NRL on top of the suspension.

The publication is also revealing that police allegedly seized "a small amount of cocaine" during a patrol around Penrith in September last year.

The Panthers were pulled up for not reporting Laurie's incident to the NRL, breaching the league's code of conduct, resulting in an undisclosed fine.

Laurie was still under contract with the Panthers at the time, meaning it fell under their jurisdiction.

The 26-year-old star was due to front a Sydney Local Court in November for the alleged incident, but charges were dropped by police and received a fine instead.

The Raiders will welcome back Simi Sasagi into the line-up for the Dragons clash, returning from a shoulder injury ahead of schedule.

The nation's capital will have to go on a serious run if they are any chance of a late push for the Top 8, and are currently dwelling in second last place tied with the Titans.
