Adam Doueihi #227

It is not the world that need to know about punishment though. It is AD and his team mates that need to know.

Why do our personal issues need to be addressed? Sure it would be great to see him playing cup at 13; but, is that what is best for the team/club this week against Parra?
What was best for the team last week when we still had granted an almost non existent chance but slim chance of making the semis...

Like I'm so glad AD is all on board no the season is officially over. The guy is a rubbish half back anyway that's been in terrible form.

All of a sudden everyone one is making out he is some kind of massiha that's the answer to all of our problems.

Would it not be better now the season is gone to give the kids some experience if they are the plan going forward.

I personally would have had him off the pine in the 13 rotation; but I don't have the clipboard. Based on the performance of.our cup team last week he is in the top 17 so he gets a jumper.

In my books he is an average half with a good running game at times. I expect that finishing strong is more important and blooding juniors will occur by drip feed.

It could also be that the cup team, that was rudderless against Canberra, need Andrews to keep their season alive more than FG.

Im sure there is a method to the madness. Benji isn't going to take time to explain it to us plebs though.

No he won't but it doesn't mean I have to agree with it ...

Maybe not the world, but as a supporter I want to know.

Right now my perception of the club is in the gutter.

And even though I am only 1 man, I'm still one of the people the club needs to watch or go to games, renew memberships, buy merchandise....

Public perception is extremely important to an NRL club - likely even moreso for the tigers compared to others.

Who knows how many people won't watch, won't make the effort to get to the game this week?

I'll watch, but my heart certainly won't be cheering for Doueihi.

The one thing I just can’t compartmentalise in this breakdown of the Marshall/ Doueihi relationship issue is that coach Marshall hasn’t penalised Doueihi in some way? Could it be that Benji has accepted full responsibility for the communication breakdown by handing the 7 jersey back to Doueihi?
I think Benji has set a dangerous precedent, or hopefully he has learned a valuable lesson?
In Adam’s words the 7/13 jersey had nothing to do with it

Yeah it would seem Benji has taken some responsibilty for whats gone down, we'll probably never know to what extend.

It's a bad look for the club but all you can do is hope that people have learnt form the sh*t show.

I won't bother watching him. Damage is done.
I have not bothered watching this team for the last 4 weeks...what they are dishing up is putrid, the AD shenanigans have made me a bit more interested in the Parra game just to see what he dishes up and the dynamic across the rest of the team. There is also the API 250 and how they lift or dont lift for that. All that said...i still will not be watching it.

The feeling I get is even the rusted ons are getting over it, there is only so much pain you can endure before you give up. Sure it's a losing mentality, but I learnt from the best, the tigers squad!

A real man deals with his problems properly and respects the team, the fans, and his mates. Saying sorry after you abandon them doesn't fix a thing. Words are cheap when the damage is already done. He walked, we suffered, and an apology doesn't earn respect back.
Not making excuses, but we really hold high expectations of footballers in their 20's.

I agree Isaac is a shit stain on the nrl . Unfortunately whilst Benji is here , especially whilst Benji lacks the runs in wins and losses , will this stuff continue . I don’t think any other new coach has had to battle a manager undermining him at every turn , as ell as the usual club bullshit . And HBG … the sooner we are rid of them the better.
I genuinely wish they’d sell to the fans like the greenbay packers.
I find it hard to believe Adam had no idea what sort of storm this would have created for Benji and the club with the media.

It wreaked of someone trying to bring Benji down.

You should be a defense lawyer.
Maybe 20 year olds shouldn't vote as they are too emotional?
Extend the 16 and under social media dribble ban to 30 as 20 year old aussie guys are too emotional.
Sandpaper gate could be because warner and Smith were about 30 and Cam was in his 20s?
Maybe stop making excuses for players there 20s because they play footy.
