As always the media that reported that have since backtracked. They are now reporting that it is a package deal with Latu……..in their rush to have the scoops and create clicks, they forgot to fact check. Probably haven’t really dug too deep on “ the package deal” either, so take it with a grain of salt.

I’m saying it’s not much difference . An 800k player today will be worth 1.2mil by 2032, probably by 2029 . So all this talk of hes not worth 1.2nil , I mean it’s all relative right . If you’re not paying your starting halves 2mil combined , which we won’t be , then that money can be spent elsewhere .
From my standing irs lore like 1.5m with Latu . If we cannot the ratchet , that’s an absolute steal , with the 2028 cap jump . Even Bula on 900k , in 2 years is going to be the equivalent to 700k today’s money l, as there’s no ratchet in his contract .
My controversial take is Roberts and Andruws have massive offseasons , and both make the 19 next year , with the extra middle and half issues sorted .
Andruws is already there talent wise . He needs to find the creatine , wrestling mat , and upper body plyometrics . Which at 19 I predict a massive growth spurt with him . Assign a personal trainer to him exclusively this off season and put him to work . This while we have to buy a half nonsense is just that nonsense . We have the best half not playing consistent nrl . The eye test and stats say that.
We need to put the bodies around him ie. strength and conditioning and coaching in o maximise this .
Go balls to the wall with Latu and Andruws. I genuinely think we won’t regret it . If we commit to it 💯
