Surely the NRL watch these games and have to think it's pretty obvious that we get screwed most weeks but nothing changes. Some of these calls against us tonight would not even be considered if it was Panthers or Roosters etc..

The NRL doesn't give a shit about us. They want us gone

On another note, I think you are a bit harsh on Saukuru. He definitely needs to work hard on his defence, but most young outside backs do. I think he has shown great promise in his 3 games

Good effort, just lacked a bit of speed and class.
Averillo should be a good addition, but I think we need one more outside back with plenty of speed and a forward with good leg speed would be handy also.

2 takeaways from this game.

Probably the worst refereeing I’ve seen since the soft whistle. Not the reason we lost though.

Saukuru has no idea in defence. At least Makasini occasionally made a good tackle. The Cowboys scored 3 of their tries through or around him.

I wouldn’t be re-signing him. Find an experienced journeyman centre for backup.

We what can you say? Away to a finals challenging team, caned by the referee. In the game a long time. That opening 25 minutes of the second half when they just had all the ball was a killer but they were more resilient they’ve been at other times. One more round…

How many penalties can that ref give tonight against Tigers. Way too many. Hope the Cowgirls go nowhere bunch of w#####s..

It wasnt just the amount of the penalties it was the direct comparison penalties that went their way, Skelton pushed a player off the kick, Madden pushed over. Api knocks the ball out of Mikales hands, Api gets the ball knocked out. Farcical.

Madden was completely taken out. That being allowed just after Skelton was penalised for a minor bump when genuinely competeting for the ball is as bad as you will see.

But he makes Purdues defence look like Crichtons. Cant play him in first grade until he fixes it

Agree. Mak has the same issues. Club wide we don't have a defensive system, let alone anyone who could coach it.

If Saukuru hasn’t learnt to tackle by now ..I don’t like his chances learning in th next three months …

He is unplayable in first grade presently
