Kurt Mann only 1 year is 👍

Just in time for the Kurt Mann announcement

[Ecto-1]

Well that’s one Mann announced for next year.

[mikey]

Hope he mans up.

[happy_tiger]

Of all the 2025 SOO players ....and that's who we sign
Hope we still sign Frizell

[sydneytiger]

not a bad signing only one year deal

Mann for one year , I simply don’t like one year deals I less he has said 1 year and I’m done but that is just as bad , early retirement deal , I hope it was cheap .
And on Frizel , if knights loose maybe it will break him and struggle next year , if they win he could also struggle if we struggle due to effort into games with no wins no finals

[tig_prmz]

I think it's a good signing. I feel like he is a future coach in the making. Hopefully we can organise something for him post career.

Or maybe ...if he signs...he kills it for us

Mann along with Frizell and Brailey will all play a consistent role in our 19 each week (assuming 100% fitness). They will provide better options and hopefully reduce the need to field guys like Mason, Hope, Lanyon, Afoa. They will force fringe players like Sione, Seyfarth, Hunt, Roberts and Sukkar to step up if they want to play NRL each week.
Fitness, hunger and attitude are the issues in question and you would hope that these guys are made of the right stuff and are sheer competitors by nature.

[StarswithStripes]

Plays with plenty of ticker. Never seen him check out in a contest. Happy for this signing to add some depth and experience which we need badly.

Yep, it's a long season & depth is important - the fact that Frizell, Mann, Api, Brailey & I will be a combined 200 years old by the end shows the Tigers are good at retirement planning. Yes, I put my name forward again for one last hoorah! I told Benji I'd play anywhere on the Bench, but not close to the splinters. 🍻 🐯🤣

[Moh]

Well, at least it's one year.

These types of signings, in the past, would be 2-3 years.

[Merlot]

normally against these signings ,Reluctant thumbs up
Read his bio, good for the kids n a fill in with injuries
