This is a great statistic. Where did you get it from? Did you calculate it yourself?

Based on a reported 450K contract and it was much worse until the few rounds when he picked up more minutes because of other players injures

It's interesting when you think a bench player mite be on 450K and only plays 27 minutes a game and I rated him 1.6 cost and Luai plays 80 game and he's rated 1.5 in cost and the real value of a player

We need more options at 7. Latu, AD and Javon Andrew’s are all 5/8s.
If Manly subsidies Fogerty ..he would most jokey be our starting 7.

I was really thinking about it when we had Charlie Staines and Naden playing reserve grade

No way the Rooster would have 850K of first grade cap playing seconds back then that's Joey Manu cap space playing Reggie's so stupid

Or Royce Hunt playing reserve grade is crazy

The Roosters would have Hunts and Seyfarth money rolled into 1 elite forward who could play 55 minutes of quality football not to Neville's

The Rosters tend to stack the first 5/6 players then a drop till around players 15/16 players in spending then it drops off a cliff in spending on players 17 to 22 then the Neville Nobody's after 22

I would think its more that you cant have Jock and Fogarty on the books. Doueihi is a completely different player and covers so many spots. Dont get me wrong, I want Doueihi gone, but I dont see it as a Fogarty in Doueihi gone scenario.

The question is, do you go Fogarty at 33 or Jock at 27? Fogarty is the better player of the 2 but not by a large margin. For a strongly built guy, his running game is just above Jock and defensively he has had his struggles surprisingly. He cracks under pressure whenever the game is on the line, while Jock twice has got us home under gripping pressure.

While Jamal is overall the better player, I think im sticking with Jock being 6 years younger.

I reckon we have to keep jock we’re only paying him like 50k

I get you but I don't see Madden and Fogarty in the same team. I can see them being in the same club. If you bring Fogarty here you are unifying the play style between ressies and first grade and Madden steps into firsts if Fogarty were to miss games.
Then I want to ensure Latu has a starting spot in the halves. That should be ahead of Doueihi. But Doueihi then becomes a 14 and next man up in the centres or 6 before Andrews eventually surpasses him. I'm not sure Doueihi would accept that role and he is surplus to requirements if he doesn't.

I wouldn't even give Doueihi a sniff of the halves. I wpuld be telling him he wont be playing there and giving reps to Latu,Javon, jock and Averillo. If Benji gives AD a sniff he could play 6 or 7 then he will sulk when he eventually gets taken over by Javon.

Im telling Doueihi he is a runner. Prepare to play centre, lock, backrow.

I do like your idea of having similar playing styles in 1sts and 2nds. Last year our style completely changed whenever Jock replaced Luai or Doueihi.

Fogarty and Brooks was a great combo, yet Many want to get rid of one or the other of them. Makes no sense, I know they are looking at Walsh as the future, but he didn’t really impress much when Manly were reeling during the season. Their season literally fell apart when Brooks got injured yet he’s the one they want to get rid of?

Yes Javon would be the cup 6. As for the future pairing, I'd like to think one of them can be taught how to be a 7 over the next 12-24months and that little bit more experience. Probably Latu 7 Javon 6 but not sure who would make the better 7. This could be as early as 2028 with Madden not resigned after next season and Fogarty in ressies for a year or '29 if he isn't quite ready.

I didn't see Brooks do anything this year he hasn't done the last 10 years.

Curious why the laugh reaction @weststigers, What did Brooks do different this year to the last 10?
Win more games than he lost, I guess, but haven't seen any difference in play style/skills.

Remember Fogarty kicking the crap out of us at Cambo a few seasons ago.

Every time he kicked into the in-goal area he hit the up right and they scored, never seen anything like it and still having nightmares about it.
