According to Phil Gould, there is a belief from Young himself that he is playing out of position and wants to test himself in the centres - something that appears incredibly unlikely at the Chooks with Billy Smith and Robert Toia on the scene.

Makes a good point but if he is already terrible on the wing in defence, imagine at Centre.

Plus wingers these days need to do alot of heavy lifting coming out of our own end - which he doesnt want to do.

Not fielding high kicks? The guy is 6'7. He should be lapping that up.

PLEASE GOD DO NOT SIGN THIS GUY.

I was wary of signing him before it was made known how much the Roosters would chip in. giving Luke time isn't necessarily a bad thing, and you just ensure Masi is aware that he's first drop for Doueihi and that's his spot long term.

I recently moved out of Balmain and I feel so much better for escaping... There are some great parts to it, but generally speaking there are alot of self entitled wankers in the area.... Idiots walking on the road when cars are coming and getting upset if you give them a honk to move... Some of the residents think it's a local village town.. news flash, your 10 mins from the CBD and are an inner city suburb!!

He will be 30 next year in June.

I think most feel that unless you are going to be putting pressure on the starters at that age, then you're better off having your backups being players that are developing.

He doesn't really have an upside.

A.D has been good at centre and goal kicking this year. He's not on big $. I sign him for another year or two.

with that in mind I'm not entirely sure whether he's our guy. you'd think he'd go back to Newcastle with an eye to replacing Gagai.

that said, Schiller also sees himself as a centre.
