Not to get too far ahead of myself, but we already have enough players coming off contract in 2 years. The May’s, two Fainu’s, Bula, Turuva. Don’t need anymore.

Head knocks don't count for pre-existing injuries, as there is no way to determine which head knock was the most detrimental. Its also not a definitive diagnosis, just an opinion as its a doctor making a call that the amount is too much (which would basically mean the last head knock they had was the one that ended their career).

So in this case, if Radley got knocked out playing for his new club and they decided that he had to retire, that last head nock would be defined as the career ending injury.

Another example is Dale Finucane who retired due to head knocks. He was medically retired and no salary cap implications for the Sharks, even though he received some/most of his head knocks earlier at the Storm and Dogs.

Roosters clearly dont care about welfare....so many double head knocks in the same game assuming I'm reading that right.

Off the field he doesn’t help. On the field, he’s not really an 80 minute lock and was moved to the edge. I’d save the cash for a prop.

As I said earlier Roosters have been looking for a reason to punt him.

If we have a proper lock we don't need another prop realistically coz Twal and Sione come into the prop rotation with Terrell, Pole, Hunt and Seyfarth

Had a busy day today so just catching up now but you just worded my thoughts mate if Doueihi ends up at lock we don't need Radley.

Plus we need Doueihi for his goal kicking if Latu is picked at half we need to fit him in at lock.

Reckon save the powder for an aggressive prop.

Eels will be top 8 next year. Ryles is a good coach. Iongi is a great player and will only get better. Lomax, Fox, Moses in the backline is a lot of points. Good rotation of hookers in Ryley smith and da silva. Decent forwards.

Knights have signed trey mooney, sandon smith and dylan brown. Holbrook too. They will not be near top 8 but they will improve with new combinations.

Titans will improve a lot with hannay as coach and foran in coaching staff. Brimson at centre and Kini at fullback is promising.

Manly could get the spoon imo... Fogarty is a decent player but in a bad team he doesn't shine. Loss of DCE and turbo bros potentially on the outer is another distraction

Dragons with senior Flanno will never win the spoon. They are ugly to watch but they have been in plenty of close games this year losing by a small margin and Atkinson will help them win those games next year.

Rabbitohs won't get spoon with wayne. This year was the year if at all. Murray back will be huge.

Cowboys have terrible defence and todd payten will be first coach sacked next year I think but there's no way they're finishing bottom 2 with dearden there.

Who does that leave? Tigers. We have ticked the box. 3 spoons and then a 4 spot jump. Coach and team seem happy to 'improve' and this acceptance of a low standard is not a good attitude going into the off season. Kai Pearce-Paul being our only notable signing is a worry. Jock Madden will be a solid backup but that's all. Mav Geyer might surprise a few, but ultimately his ceiling isn't very high. It is good to build some depth, but we need a lot more class. I'm not hopeful of a good season next year

KPP won’t be our only notable signing

Our main issue this year was depth which we have addressed and will further improve

South’s have so so much going on to the point it doesn’t really make a difference who is playing

Titans I can see improvement out of

I highly doubt with how disjointed Newy are that they hit the ground running
 
Radley at lock for 2 years as a stop gap, to just buy us time to find someone more long term, I'd do it in a heartbeat. We just need 35 - 40 games out of him in 2 seasons, he should be able to do that easily. If he goes well give him another 2 years. If not we have 2 years to work something out. Plus he's cheap uncle Nick is chipping in to move him on.
