Backs take the first 3 hit ups in ever set. They set the tone. Getting out of our half has little to do with our forwards. It's everything to do with our backs, our poor kicking game and out lack of line speed in defence

But being honest every position is very important and you need 20 good players I think the Tigers have about 14 good players

My left-field prediction is an evolution of Kai Pearce-Paul into the middle in the future. His height, ungainly running style, offloading ability, and strength in the hold and wrestle could wreak havoc in the middle.

Pearce-Paul is a right side backrower atm which is Godinet's preferential side. I'd rather lave Samuela Fainu on an edge with his tackle-busting ability and to forge that combo with Luai & Taylan.

So 2027, KPP to the middle, you've heard it here first & maybe last lol

I had thought Crichton's first easts contract was 400k and he was signed under souths noses. Later he hurts his finger and gets it amputated. Otherwise he went good at Souths, Better at Easts.

or do you mean you think you imagined Crichton saying it's "Roosters or Union". I vaguely remember him saying this too.

I have no idea why Easts who regularly vomit players back onto the open market get that loyality.

Unlike.many im.kind of excited and quietly positive for next year.
If we get steady improvement from.our youngens (fainus, bula, maka) a full season out of toa, kpp and tiny, and some pressure in the forwards from bunty, geyer, sakura, bird, sukkar and hunt, we will be pretty good.
We were electric at times last year and a year on together should improve that. Again our defence needs to step up but i think the squad is so much better then what we had in the past.

Yes … I must admit that it’s so much fun in the offseason now for us fans …never connected with any new players, and the CEO telling us all that there will be little change to the team year on year …the offseason just flies by

I hope so with all the hype he is getting. NRL contract for 2027 but Mr Moses is his agent.
Seems to have a mature head and hopefully will not be unduly manipulated to unreasonable deals for one so young.
But he will have high ambitions, so WT will need to be going in the right trajectory to retain him IMO.
I think we are, so fingers crossed.
PS. The Panthers are buying a lot of players at the moment.
What has happened to their never-ending nursery of stars. All getting poached?
A lesson for the retention of our rising stars if the light at the end of the tunnel goes out.
