HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

Thank god it’s now with the NRL to make an informed decision on what happens moving forward to stop all this guess work and innuendo.
What happens if PVL concludes that the NRL licence is ok to stay with Wests Leagues PROVIDING they make changes,remove any perpetrators and work amicably with the CEO and rugby league club staff moving forward ?
Based on what I’ve been reading there would be many who still won’t be happy, will throw their toys out iof the cot and likely paint PVL as a villain.
The common sense way of thinking would be we have raised plenty of attention with our dissatisfaction, we will raise even more attention with the upcoming march/rally, let the NRL decide what is best for Wests Tigers moving forward and accept their decision even if it is not exactly what we want.

One fan is just a fan but the fanbase is the entire stakeholder. That is the game of professional sport. The fanbase are unravelled and rightly so. The ambiguity and consistent misalignment is the cause. The fans are right to be pissed off and it is the obligation of the club ownership to appease them and the NRL also view it as their obligation too. The HBG seem not to realise this. The root of the issue right there. You are entitled not to be unraveling but the majority are and they are right to be. The club has a duty of care to it's fanbase as primary and most important stakeholder. HBG care about their debenture holders, Wests members, paid WT members and the rest last. That is a recipe for disarray.

There is a 90% chance it will definately happen in 2030, They will become the Magpies once again, And by what is being said, Us Wests Tigers supporters will have very little to say about it, Unless someone makes HBG a big financial offer to take over the West Tigers, but I think HBG are a very determined group of people, I think our beloved Wests Tigers are on borrowed time unless the NRL can perform a miracle.

I am not a big fan of looking for skeletons in the man's closet but if you consider that not long ago fellow debenture holder, board member and staunch Burgess ally Vince Tropiano was accused of harassment it doesn't paint a great picture of the standards these men hold themselves to. Disreputable at minimum.

I don't think so...HBG have systematically destroyed any crumb of reputation they had.

The NRL and the rest of the game can see they are the problem. They won't allow it. I'm confident of that.

As always laws and rules are for the ‘honest’ to obey. Others make their own until they get caught.
 
Wasn't going to throw my 2 cents worth in but can't help myself. To start with , i believe the Barnes Holman group board of directors are a bunch of brain dead morons.They are ruining what was looking like a pretty good season coming up. There is no excuse for this behaviour and these dopes with thier dinosaur agendas have to go. Obviously the voting model for the Board of directors at Wests Ashfield has to be changed to a fairer system where it is easier to get rid of these flogs and get some people with the right perspective to take thier place. On another note, they need to change the name to maybe the Dumb shit Group and stop using the names of two of the greats of the game in Keith Barnes and Keithy Holman , absolute Champions and Gentlemen to boot.
