Too be honest, I think it was a bit pointless last year as it isn't really a richo thing. I think is will be stronger this year under Shaun as fan engagement is a key area for him. What actually happens within the group? Catch ups ? Action items? Do the club implement anything? And what's frg stand for?
Ashfield leagues is only 10 mins away too. They've never been smart enough to capitalise on that.Seems stupid and counter-productive of HB to not want games at LO when theyre going to have a club just up the road
HBG having full control of Wests Tigers has been vehemently rejected by all stakeholders except Wests Ashfield. That wasn't the last agreement. HBG will have control of the Tigers board, but the independents were invited back to the expanded board, featuring more (making the majority) HBG representation.

It is not an option. No independents will sit on a board and waste their time when their input isn't valued.
The NRL will not allow Wests Ashfield to run the club by themselves.
Wests Ashfield have a couple of weeks together to grow up and face the facts or else every stakeholder will come down them like a tonne of bricks.
I can't see the NRL telling the owners of a club that they can't run it. Unless they are in debt to the NRL.Hope that is true, but with HBG being the majority stakeholders, who hold all the cards, I don't see it happening right now.
They have the opportunity to do it voluntarily now.Hope that is true, but with HBG being the majority stakeholders, who hold all the cards, I don't see it happening right now.
VLandy's would have shot them some home truths off the recordThey have the opportunity to do it voluntarily now.
If they decide to go it themselves then it's on the members, the Tigers Unite, the media and all footy fans to force the NRL to step in and take the club back.

nrl can always not invite the club to renew licence if they are not happy with hbg running the showI can't see the NRL telling the owners of a club that they can't run it. Unless they are in debt to the NRL.
you keep referring to these personalities changing tact - why ,nrl is asleep this time of year .I have no doubt the thought of this has sparked fear into the hearts of the owners given the sudden change of heart we are seeing from various personalities across social media platforms.
But it doesn't sound like there is actually any pressure (yet) from the NRL if it's up to members to force some sort of action...
Bula holds the keys as to what happens next.
If he stays, most fans stay settled.
If he goes, good luck HBG... December is going to be a huge topic of conversation once again.
The broadcasters would love that. Let's stay in reality.nrl can always not invite the club to renew licence if they are not happy with hbg running the show

. '....... When I attend I intend to ask as many questions as they allow over the two hours they have scheduled for the event. If there is something burning that you would like me to ask drop me a line here or message me and I will ask it if I can and report back with the findings.
Cochise, you may want to report back to the FRG on the complete lack of follow up; not much of a representative group if you promise action and deliver SFA.

just as an aside, Tottenham Spurs (in the EPL) are not having their best of times as a club and fans there are questioning leadership via marches etc - here is their latest wish list which somewhat mirrors some of the feelings here:
