I would have thought if you are trying to convince fans to travel to Vegas you do everything you can to make the match-up exciting and mean something.
So you are saying both teams are travelling there anyway, yet the NRL would purposely not put them up against each other "because most local fans want to see these" even though "most local fans" will see us on Easter Monday.
Do you think, in hindsight, your logic is sound?

Gus’ word is worth spit. Never seen someone in the game who will say whatever is convenient in the moment, which could change five minutes later. Should have gotten into politics. He’s that kind of personality.

After his effort today I don't think Bula's value has gone up at all. He was one of our least effective players and still doesn't look overly fit or committed.

He looks like he has put on size. He reminds me of a David Peachy. Effortless
Bula does not have the speed that players like Weeks ,Fauolongo have that makes them so dangerous not worth 900,000

Bula is like any other player, he is worth what the market is willing to pay. Like with the housing market you only need two serious bidders at an auction to get a good result. To us Bula is probably worth more than market value as we don’t have a obvious replacement in the short term.

I think Ideally we keep him until the end of 2027 … gives them time to see what they have internally or look to the market to find a replacement…

I saw a tweet from Gus saying they played a simulated game at training going full throttle. I wonder if that’s what caused it. Emotions and competitiveness tipping over
