MosesWho’s his agent these days?
Well we all know Farahs role in Potters demise. I’m glad the tide has turned and the coach now makes the call, let’s just hope it’s the right call.Quite the opposite, for to many years the club has let players set the agenda. Im sure Benji is well aware he was part of that history and is serious about ending that culture for the benifit of the club.
Is he a great coach? probably not atm , but he is at the very least trying to set a standard.
lol code for just make up stories hey Dave...Ooh.love the "mystery player" angle
Pfft
The best team we can field this week has both AD and Luai in it. The only person that’s stopping that from happening is Adam because he’s too self centred.Bigger issue is Benji putting our best player out of position and playing a guy who leaving this year
Never said it was but I reserve the right to call news corp riff raff ghouls, and actually, I did compliment them on being Johnny on the spot on location at our festering wound of a C.O.E.You lost me at Murdoch.
This is being reported widely. It is not some anti-tigers conspiracy by Rupert Murdoch.
Can you name another player in NRL history that has refused to play because he wasn't picked in his prefered position?AD is easily our best player..
No problem...his departure will simply accelerate Benjis inevitable demise .hopefully before season end
What a total debacle
Who ever thought about giving th total reins to Benji...his incompetence will trigger poor quality decisions until thees sticky mess on the floor
..but a big payout to him
Lets gt it on and restart yet again
There’ll be one….there always is.But we’re going to need a mid season drama/player walk out though.
No mail at all but now this has happened with Douhei, prob frustration building up. No doubt other players would be feeling the same way. Looking at the way the teams form has dived just doesnt look on the field like theyre on the same page. There are guys in the squad who are very close mates with Luai, if Douhei is telling Marshall he should drop Luai instead cause hes leaving, i could see how the dressing room would be divided along lines of loyalty. There would be players agreeing with Douehi and players backing Benjis call to play whoever he thinks would help win the game. Luai leaving cant be the only reason were playong so poorly. Injuries cant be either as players have come back. There must be something going on.Where are you hearing rumours that the dressing room is divided? My understanding is that there may be clash between Luai and AD but it is no wider than that. Having said that I have no solid links; it is all hearsay. Interested in your mail.
That’s the thing. Not sure he’s thought it through.Even if he leaves no other club in the comp will take him as a halfback he'll be playing centre or lock if he goes
Kimmorley talks about it tonight on SEN. he told Kimmorley (Kimmorley was interim coach) if I’m not playing 5/8 in first grade I’d rather play 5/8 in reserve grade.Did he refuse to play?
So they shouldn't be in leadership position?
No I think AD should have and played where selected. Kimmorley has just reinforced AD is only interested in AD’s prioritiesKimmorley should keep his trap shut
Ah, beat me to it citing precedent...Adam Douhie can no longer be part of the Wests Tigers ‘team’
The coach selects the team
If Benji wants a ball playing lock (like Fainu had been playing off the bench) who is best suited to that position
Luai
Andrew’s
Douhie
Adam has previous form in not wanting to play where he is selected
In a previous season-it was well documented that he wanted to play in the halves in state cup if he wasn’t going to be in the halves in the NRL
Additionally the players outside of Douhie rarely receive good ball and he is NOT a natural half he is a centre or utility playing half
Tallis Duncan can genuinely play back row and centre, not just one or the other at a pinch. You don't see that kind of versatility very often.Perfect player
Backrow/ lock / centre
+ hes young and his best is ahead.
He'd be an 800k player or what
Our recruiters will be very busy with a big shopping list.Luai and AD will free up a lot of cap space one would suggest. Running with Latu and Andrews is a massive gamble.
Maybe in ADs opinion for the betterment of the team. I would have said, ok , let’s try it and if things improve we keep going, if not shut your mouth and put on the 13 jumper. No I think AD should have and played where selected. Kimmorley has just reinforced AD is only interested in AD’s priorities
