Kimmorley talks about it tonight on SEN. he told Kimmorley (Kimmorley was interim coach) if I’m not playing 5/8 in first grade I’d rather play 5/8 in reserve grade.

Only read from a few pages back, but has anyone remembered Doueihi did exactly this a couple (?) years back?
Refused to play anywhere but 6 and said he'd play reserves of not picked there.
Disappointing this latest episode, as he really seemed to have grown a lot in the time since, and yeh, seemed real leader quality.
Feels like he has quickly forgotten that not too long ago he decided to manage himself and test the open market; the result indicates he didn't get a lot of interest.
Then after that did his acl... Again. And the club was with him through all that.
The club has done well by him, and through it's good faith was the catalyst to his becoming by far the best version of himself as a player, and - seemingly - a far more selfless and mature man.
Hopefully it's all been overblown and not as it seems, but it sure sounds like he has in one hissy fit instantly regressed and undone the last couple of years' good work both onfield and off.
To be honest, he's not as good he seems to think he is, and one player's prima donna act should not be tolerated.
Time for Benji to make good on his word: "There's the fking door Adam".

No I think AD should have and played where selected. Kimmorley has just reinforced AD is only interested in AD’s priorities

Tallis Duncan can genuinely play back row and centre, not just one or the other at a pinch. You don't see that kind of versatility very often.

Maybe in ADs opinion for the betterment of the team. I would have said, ok , let’s try it and if things improve we keep going, if not shut your mouth and put on the 13 jumper.
Not at the level he performs...
Like, we had MCK in the past but he was nowhere near as good as Tallis.

I can’t understand why Benji didn’t move Adam Doueihi to the centres. He’s not a lock imo , and he hasn’t played well since coming back from injury . Benji must have final decision as coach re positional changes however and players have to “ toe the line”.

I'd like to think AD and Benji are man enough and value their friendship / working relationship enough to work this out as gentleman.

Turbo and Latrell have both shown they’re willing to put the team first by accepting position changes when needed. Sometimes the best players adapt for the good of the side. If they can do it without making it about themselves, why can’t AD? Being a team player is about embracing what’s best for the club, not just what suits you.

The teams Benji keeps selecting are simply not good enough so we are yet again no chance unfortunately.
Our best outside strike outside back keeps being overlooked and he continues to throw his support behind Luai in our halves despite gim not contributing to any tries for the past month.

The problem is that with all our recent issues, and Richo departing, we will be paying overs again to get anyone here. Players talk, and the talk is that the Tigers are toxic again.
Nobody else has contributed to a try for us over the past month.
So if Doueihi is the problem, what are all the others doing?

Depends on what are ADs next step..
If he goes on the offence and starts doing interviews or leaks stuff about WT, this is ending the same way as Galvin..
If he shuts up, takes his medicine, starts training and gets back into it, we can all move forward. But, the bridge may have been burnt.. let's see..
