Adam Doueihi #227

Ooh.love the "mystery player" angle
Pfft

Quite the opposite, for to many years the club has let players set the agenda. Im sure Benji is well aware he was part of that history and is serious about ending that culture for the benifit of the club.
Is he a great coach? probably not atm , but he is at the very least trying to set a standard.
Well we all know Farahs role in Potters demise. I’m glad the tide has turned and the coach now makes the call, let’s just hope it’s the right call.

Adam Douhie can no longer be part of the Wests Tigers ‘team’

The coach selects the team

If Benji wants a ball playing lock (like Fainu had been playing off the bench) who is best suited to that position
Luai
Andrew’s
Douhie

Adam has previous form in not wanting to play where he is selected

In a previous season-it was well documented that he wanted to play in the halves in state cup if he wasn’t going to be in the halves in the NRL

Additionally the players outside of Douhie rarely receive good ball and he is NOT a natural half he is a centre or utility playing half

Seems to have history.
Never a fan of Kimmorley as coach but this is poor form by AD

AD is easily our best player..
No problem...his departure will simply accelerate Benjis inevitable demise .hopefully before season end
What a total debacle
Who ever thought about giving th total reins to Benji...his incompetence will trigger poor quality decisions until thees sticky mess on the floor
..but a big payout to him
Lets gt it on and restart yet again
Can you name another player in NRL history that has refused to play because he wasn't picked in his prefered position?
There is Zero . Just another shitty Weststigers milestone the club has achieved!
The consensus amongst former players within all the media outlets is regardless of your disappointment you have to suck it up and just play for the team where you are picked.

Where are you hearing rumours that the dressing room is divided? My understanding is that there may be clash between Luai and AD but it is no wider than that. Having said that I have no solid links; it is all hearsay. Interested in your mail.
No mail at all but now this has happened with Douhei, prob frustration building up. No doubt other players would be feeling the same way. Looking at the way the teams form has dived just doesnt look on the field like theyre on the same page. There are guys in the squad who are very close mates with Luai, if Douhei is telling Marshall he should drop Luai instead cause hes leaving, i could see how the dressing room would be divided along lines of loyalty. There would be players agreeing with Douehi and players backing Benjis call to play whoever he thinks would help win the game. Luai leaving cant be the only reason were playong so poorly. Injuries cant be either as players have come back. There must be something going on.
