1. Tedesco 6. Moltzen 7. Brooks

Moltzen is a far better option than Anasta. The only three that should be coming into consideration for the 5/8 role are Moltzen, Austin & Sironen, and I'd be tempted to play Sirro in the back row next year.

Yeah I think leave Sirro to concentrate on finding his groove as an edge forward.

Austin is really starting to appeal to me, with him and Brooks in the halves we start with a clean slate, if Moltzen starts its like the old guard is still there.

6 is Moltzen's position, and the only position he can possibly play. He is not a half, he is not a fullback and he's not a centre.

Would rather him not in the squad at all, but he could be a better option than Braith.

The big problem is, if Anasta dosnt get the no6 he will get a backrow gig, because London to a brick he will be in the starting line up.We saw last year that he is no where near what a back rower should be. I just hope Potter gives the three of them a fair shot and goes for the one in the best form come round one.

Moltzen would be my no14,although Iam a big fan of four forwards on the bench. As a starting no6, its going to put massive pressure on Brooks kicking game, where both Anasta and Austen have a kicking game .

Brooks Partner will be either Moltzen or Anasta. Sironen has been told his moving to back row

of course siro is moving.

very poor idea to put him at the 6 at this stage of the team's and his development.

Moltzen may well get a game at 6; but it wont be until the back end of the season. We have now seen how long it took both him and Tedesco to get back to anything like good form from an ACL and it aint a short time. Anasta went alright in his outings at 6 so he and Austin will fight it out. Im OK with Anasta.

Anasta will play much better next to an organizer. Rather then a Marshall, who is completely instinctive.

People seem to forget that at one stage last year. Moltzen was our only dangerous player inside the opp 20\. His running game in this area is his real strong point.

Have a look at one of his highlights videos on youtube.

6 is his perfect position

Running game? The blokes scared to run into anyone! Five-Eighth is probably his best position, but he isn't very good at it.

Yeah? Good..
Moltzen > Anasta.
Also it keeps Sirro is in the backrow which I loved seeing.

I hope Moltz kills it.

If Moltzen can learn to play with others the way he did with Benji, he'd be brilliant. I would happily have him at 6 being a link man to Tedesco, or running onto off loads & other second phase play options.

His kicking would need a lot of work.

Easy to bag people out from the sidelines. Drives me we nuts.

Opinion is great but remember everyone of us would kill to be in a squad like moltz etc.

What have you achieved.

My morning rant

I'm hoping that if the club is reading ( and we know they are ) that they will see that the fans / members are holding them accountable for their recruitment and retention policies Spartan

And if the players are reading (which they shouldn't be according to the clubs guidelines ) that the constructive criticism will inspire them to make us look like fools with far better performances

No doubt in my mind Mitchell Moses will eventually be Tigers 5/8\. He is a brilliant player & just needs to get over injury. Love to know where he is up to with his injury?

I have no doubt 6 is Timmy's best position, but I'm not too sure Timmy at 6 is the best fit for Luke Brooks. Moltzen was apart of 'that' Benji Club and may have the inclination to take too much control and not allow Luke to find his feet.

Braith isn't the best 5/8 running around and is getting a little tired, but I feel he is ideal for young Luke to settle and grow at Halfback for the first 16 weeks of the comp… Play Moltzen & Austin in Reggies until late in the year and then make the call to bring either one of them up if we are in contention in Round 20\. A new spark in attack in the closing rounds could be enough to see us go an extra 1-2 weeks in the comp?!

My main concern for the number 6 is giving Brooks the maximum amount of support that he needs. We don't want him having to shoulder too much of the creative work so early in his career. Can Moltzen actually create something or just play a support role?

No doubt when Brooks becomes established he will need a running 6 by his side

For the next 12-18 months he will need someone that can take the burden off him when required as he will no doubt struggle with the week in week out intensity of the NRL

I imagine Brooks will float in and out of some games , the mental step up will be enormous in itself , let alone the physical step up

Anasta would be ideal if he could find the form from 4-5 years ago

Personally think sticking Moltzen beside Brooks would be madness , how many games has Moltzen played at 6 2-3 at most ??

Austin is still a rookie and sticking him beside Brooks won't help , actually Brooks might be more advanced than Austin despite Austin's more NRL experience

Our biggest problem in 2014 will be finding the right person for the 6 jersey

Would it be that bad a thing to leave Sironen in the 6 jersey for one more season and have Anasta on the bench to help out if required ??

Austin still being a rookie is part of the attraction for me, no baggage or history with Tigers meaning a completely fresh start for the side.

Plus I've spoken to a few mates who support Panthers, they have been following Austin for a while and rate him highly. Solid defence, great runner of the ball apparently.
