WESTS TIGERS TRIAL MATCHES

Wests Tigers NRL and NYC teams will play three trial matches next month in preparation for the 2011 season.

Both squads are now back in full time training and will be cut down in size after the trials.

NRL trials.
Trial 1:
Friday. February 11: vs Cowboys,Brothers Rugby League Club, Townsville. Time to be confirmed.

Trial 2:
Saturday, February 19: vs Parramatta, Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Time to be confirmed.

Trial 3
Saturday, February 26: vs Sydney Roosters, Sydney Football Stadium (Foundation Cup). Time to be confirmed.

NYC trials
Trial 1
Wednesday, February 2: vs Bulldogs, venue and time to be confirmed.

Trial 2
Saturday, February 19: vs Parramatta, Campbelltown Sports Stadium. Time to be confirmed

Trial 3
Saturday, February 26: vs Sydney Roosters, Sydney Football Stadium. Time to be confirmed.

Nice up that way - I frequent Booker Bay and Etta quite often.

Trials cant come quick enough for me.

Yeah it is. I'm in Umina so I get down to Ettalong quite often. I was looking forward to the Gosford trial.

Yoss- there are a huge number of Tigers supporters on the Coast - but from all reports you only have the administration of Blue Tongue to blame for depriving you local residents of this game!!

The fact that no Sydney club is trialling there due to basic logistics (catering & security) is a blight on the area - and should prove a major stumbling block to the touted return of the Bears!

If that's the case, whoever is managing things for Singo should get the elbow. Given the time frames and numbers involved I'm in disbelief that the game would have to be moved for the reaons you cite.

You're right though - there are a lot of Tigers fans up on the Coast. If they could guarantee the Gosford trial it would have made for a good membership drive opportunity.

They've gotta see what time they can get a group booking for at Tiger Tiger after the game….then just include the bus trip, add 2 hrs for the match, and you've got your kickoff time!
