Vidic back for ManU this week apparently.
A perfect gift for United fans, and just in time for Christmas!

Toughens your side up big time Glen You are morals for the Premiership

Wish my mob had some good news
Vaz Te Shoulder at least 8 weeks away
Carroll Knee 8 weeks
Collison Knee still not back on the training track
Diame hamstring 4 weeks

The youth will have to stand up

About bloody time, the backline really looks ordinary without him. I know it doesn't how matter many goals you're leaking when you're scoring more than you concede but F & A could well come into again if they choke and drop a few easy games like they did last year.

Unbelievable…I cant get over the dedicated support this sport recieves - it really is fascinating. I might erect some grandstands in my back yard and sell tickets to watch my grass grow. Probably get the same group climbing over each other to purchase them as well....

Some people find it hard to watch golf & tennis… Some even can't watch Rugby League.

Each to their own Stryker.

I dont watch much EPL, when I do its usually only short parts and usually the best teams….I really appreciate the skills of the best players, brilliant to watch.

a question for the fans.

I know this comp is very very top heavy, the same few teams always winning, Man U man C Chelsea ?Liverpool?....anyway....are the lower games between the teams at the bottom of the ladder of the same standard as the best< I guess to an extent not.........but would our top A - league teams beat the bottom EPL teams?

Hope so, This bayern team are just rolling along.. haven't watched much Serie A though.

on the other hand, this bayern team is one of the most inept and weak mentally as I've seen.

I reckon most of the Championship (the tier underneath EPL,) teams would put 3 or 4 goals past our best teams.

Here's some more statistics Ink that might blow you away. The top 4 teams play in the champions league for the best team in Europe, in the EPL currently the difference in points for 4th and 13th is 6 points which equals to 2 wins (3 points for a win) and there is 20 teams in the league. The team coming last at the moment QPR would go through the A-League and dominate in a major way.

When Man U play teh A-league All Stars, I expect Man U to put one in the net, toy with them and put a show on then in the last 15-20 put the hammer down and blow them away. Even with Del Piero and Heskey in the team.

Chris I don't know if QPR are the best guide

They should be a Top 12 side with the talent at their disposal

Reading or the Saints would be a better guide in my opinion , but the same results would probably occur

Just got home from my first ever Sydney Derby, one of the best sporting atmospheres I have experienced. It may not be a big code in Australia, but the atmosphere at some A-League games is phenomenal.

I saw the WSW mob on TV…it DID look like it was pumping, made me think I gotta get me to one of these derbys soon

It was a great atmosphere. Both sides didn't stop chanting the whole time. West Sydney totally outplayed Sydney FC.
I have been to a few games and sat in the Wanderers main fan base, the RBB (red and black block). They just sing and chant the whole time but last night was a pretty good night.

I've missed both derbies thanks to commitments but I will certainly get out there to the third game back at Parramatta stadium. Hopefully FC get it together by then.

Channel 9 getting stuck into the football fans after last night. Apparently having a large group marching to the stadium singing songs is disgusting behaviour. A few flares were let off, but it was all harmless. I was pretty much right in the middle of the RBB and at no point did I feel like I was in any danger of getting hurt (nor did any of the people around us, which included a lot of younger females.
