Jacob Miller has already played 5 games at NRL level. That may or may not be enough of a chance but from what I've heard he's hardly been knocking on the door for selection this year based on his performances in the NYC. You should earn a promotion to NRL based on performances not because it's your turn.
I'm not saying that Miller can't be our halfback but throwing someone who's in moderate form into the top grade isn't a great outcome for the player or the team.
Initial SOO halfback for the NYC, so must be doing something right.
Not given a really good shot at the first grade spot as yet. Maybe at the end of this year he will be ready. In the meantime he may get a shot every now and then to gain first grade experience. He seems to be a very good half back and as everybody knows (or should) great halfbacks are born, they a not created.
Not saying he's going badly (although others have suggested he's hardly in great form) but rep football selection is not always a great indicator a player is going well…
