Blair has to play at prop otherwise we just don't get any value out of him.

I think woods can successfully make the transition to lock like Trent Merrin has this season

Why would you do that if you have Sauso Sue killing it at lock?

Sue isnt killing it… He is playing well, but he is far from owning the 13 Jumper

You guys have your opinion and I have mine but in all honesty why would you move Woods if he is killing it at prop? Sue also is doing very well IMO, he is a starter and is a hard runner, really tough in defence.

Agree, Woods could become a really good lock. Like merrin or gallen.

And as for the 'sue is killing it' yeah he is, but it's not because he's playing at 13\. He'd be killing it in the 2nd row or on the bench too.

Sue is doing well at lock, and woods is also doing well at prop. But it's not about how individuals are doing, it's about the forward pack as a whole. With woods playing at lock, along with 2 other front rowers out there, I think our forward pack would have more chance of dominating the ruck

/We are pinning a lot of faith on our young players making another step up the ladder in 2014\. If the "second season syndrome" strikes we are in all sorts of bother and Iam afraid it usually strikes a few players. Time will tell but I think we will be way down on experience in 2014\. Although I do agree with the current policy of holding back with the cheque book and have a dash for players for the 2015 when we really know where our problems lay

I would go with the same except I'd have Lawrence at #11 and Buchanan on the bench instead of Brown. Possibly Gavet instead of Taupau depending on who impresses the most in off/pre-season. Brown maybe pushing for a spot later in the year.
Although I'm sure Anasta will be there somewhere

A light hearted view;

1\. Koroibete - Every time the ball goes in the air, Wests Tigers supporters go down on their knees and pray.
2\. Nofoaluma - Wet weather specialist who refuses to play in the dry.
3\. Richards - Big and strong and will draw the defensive to him if he learns to pass even better.
4\. Lawrence - Spends the off season sprint training on the sands at Cronulla!
5\. Simona - Is officially recognised by team mates as the guy in the top 25 they never met!
6\. Sironen - Makes the incredibly difficult move in the modern game of 7 to 6.
7\. Brooks - Our great white hope
8\. Blair - Put on a diet of Crispy Creme Doughnuts in the off season.
9\. Farah - The master of the broken nose plays
10\. Galloway - Sauced up so no more injuries
11\. Fulton - joins Blair on diet
12\. Taupau - Mongrel needed to fire up team mates
13\. Woods - becomes Woodlock sales representative for western Sydney

14, Sue - hey if you play league and are called Sue….
15\. Ava - Learns to spell his second name
16\. Thompson/Gavet - who wants it more
17\. Anasta - Need to get something out of him. (Maybe not!)

A few out of the box ideas (some more than others)

Given Anasta is playing rubbish at the moment, and I think Sirro looks more and more an edge backrower. Moses physically is unlikely to be ready.

What about playing Lawrence at 6 and Sirro on his edge, both are half way between each position and could offer enough hard running and ball playing between them to make them a pretty dangerous combination.

It would also take a bit of pressure of Sirro defending as an edge back rower if the bloke outside him is not really a half and is almost a back rower him self. Also limit the mobility issues lawrence is currently having (which may improve once his foot is fixed)

Whack Simona and Koro outside them, pretty potent left side.

The issue with Lawrence at 6 is if Sirro is not outside him he probably does not have the passing game on his own to fill the role.

The other idea i'm thinking might be to give Woods the 13 jumper. The role is pretty similar to prop these days, his mobility is certainly up to it. Given we will have Galloway and Blair along with a host of young guys (Taupau, Ava, Buchanan etc) we could run a 4 prop rotation with Woods playing 80 in the middle as a lock, running the ball a bit later in the count after a couple other big boppers have a go could strenthen the rotation and allow us to have woods hold the middle together all game.

I think Halatau will allow us to play a 4 forward rotation with Halatau covering hooker and backs,
