2018 Draw (rd 1 to 25)

Glad they moved the Sea Eagles game to Campbelltown. It's traditionally a Magpies rivalry and should be played at Campbelltown. Would have been nice if we could have had Easts at Leichhardt but c'est la vie…

So they've removed a bye, but effectively given everyone a weekend off for a standalone origin game?

Tough ask to play Melbourne twice in the first 5 rounds... We generally challenge them though so maybe we'll get the cookies next time around.

Not a fan of this draw.
Very tough start (although that can be a positive)
But the fact that they took a Leichhardt game away and instead give us one Thursday night and a Saturday night against St George… stupid!

Plus we play melbourne twice in four weeks. Stupid!!!

Yeah it doesn't fill me with confidence at all. Still, if we can win 3/6 we will be doing well IMO.

0 from 5 …not a bad way to start the season lol

Greenburg and his cronies hate us ...
We are the NRL whipping boys .

Get used to it !

I hope you always wait for the green man before crossing the road coz with that attitude! if you don't, your times numbered

What a terrible draw. The NRL should be ashamed. We play last years top 4 in the first 4 rounds. We then play eels and Melbourne again so by round 8 we play them twice. I was so excited for next year, this has certainly taken it down a notch.

Fist 5 Rounds: Roosters, Storm, Broncos, Eels, Storm.
Only Top 4 teams.
OMG.
Storm twice.
That has to be the toughest start to any season any team has ever had.

Roosters play top 4 Teams only 4 times all year

As long as your happy with the draw …
( including taking 2 games to to garbage venues ) then i guess eveythings "hunky-dory "

The turnaround from Rd 4 to Rd 5 is a tough ask - we play Parra on Easter Monday then have to back up against the Storm on Saturday in NZ.

It is what it is….may as well accept it, I think trying to look positively at it is better than the alternative. Each to their own

No Queensland games…bonus

Not if you live in SE Queensland and your only chance to see the Tigers live is v a QLD team. So much for growing supporters outside of NSW (NZ doesn't count). I've been to most Titans v Tigers games at the GC and the supporters are generally about 50/50 tigers / titans. We also have a good record there - I've seen more wins than losses.

I have always said the best time to play the gun teams is very early in the season, plenty of upsets in the first 6 weeks, than it settles down when teams start to get match fit.

Don't like having one of our three games at LO on a Thursday night, bad enough they took one away. Also never like going to Cambo on a Friday night, murder in the traffic trying to get there

Roosters play top 4 Teams only 4 times all year

And parra play 3

It's beyond ridiculous

I agree we have a tough draw, however with the Roosters and Parra being in the Top 4 last year, they can only play 3 other teams who were in the Top 4 with them. They can't play themselves!

This year the Broncos first 4 rounds were Sharks, Cowboys, Storm and Raiders

Taking a home game to NZ to play Storm is a ridiculously stupid decision. Hope the money WT get for doing it softens the blow. Crazy decision. Crowds in NZ are generally poor, surprised our club isn't brain dead enough to play OUR home game vs Storm down in Melbourne. We need all the advantages we can get to keep pace with the top teams, playing home games away from home is ludicrous.

Theirs no such thing as a easy game in the nrl. I am excited at the fact we can test ourselves against the best in the comp so early in the year we as supporters get to actually see how much the tigers have improved under ivan cleary call me optimistic but i believe we can beat anyone, anytime and anywhere.

Bring em on. I'm fearless.

The draw/allocation is poor, but yeah, bring em on and let's get the monkey off our back first up. JWH and his fellow chook big men won't be getting shown walking backsides nor cuddled by the hair bear bunch this time around, his fellow Kiwis up front for us will not be so accommodating.

I agree there is no such thing as an easy game, and in any given day any team can beaten. However let's be realistic. If we were playing the knights and warriors twice in the first 8 rounds plus games against the rabbits, Bulldogs and dragons we would all be jumping for joy. We see what happens when teams build momentum and what happens when teams start losing and it lose confidence. I have faith in Ivan and the team but this draw certainly doesn't help our cause.

NRL.com Claiming the Dogs have it tougher than us to start the year…..

LOL they have panthers, rabbits and raiders during the same first 5 weeks.

What a joke.

All the Bulldogs games could be tough next season.
