2018 Jersey Range

Don't like any of our jerseys from this year. Much rather the designs being made on this forum. Quite sad that paid professionals somehow make a worse design than mere fans, but who am I to judge.

Well, at least the members' jersey looks like my idea of a footy jersey. I was a magpie supporter but I always liked the black and gold striped Balmain jersey. For mine you must have stripes or a V and the colours are just a matter of taste but my preference is for black as the base colour of the main jersey and gold (not hi vis orange!) for the alternate. This coming season, I'll be getting the members jersey for sure.

I was wondering what you could do with this design as an alternative/9's jersey?

Yep Ben I'll do it, If I'm quite again at work on Monday I'll turn the Dark Blue to Black, Red to Gold and leave the white. I'll reverse the colours of Brydan's logo. So it's black on whites.
Good looking jersey, the French always come up with something a bit different from the norm. We recently did a food shoot in France because the David Jones head (a Pom, with a grey man bob haircut ) believed's the French have the best food photographer. Personally I didn't notice them do anything much different than the Aussie ones we normally use.

Can someone do the same as above but make the two orange lines thicker and add a narrower White V to the top orange stripe.
It would essentially be a combo of the Victor Wests jersey and the Philips Balmain jersey, I'm curious whether that would look any good?

Is the base colour black or gold? Or one of each?

I made a rough mock up of what I meant. Think these would suit, looks good whilst retaining our history.
Appreciate if you could make some more professional looking examples as I only used paint.

In hindsight I probably should have just asked to reverse the orange and white on number five to create an orange base. As for the top stripe above the V, happy for it just to form part of the larger black area as you already created.

I completely agree they look far better and probably are closer to what many supporters really want.Unfortunately professional designers are not supporters and come up with designs they believe we will like.

Can I propose that Tigerdon design our jerseys in the future. The 5 he came up with are better than anything the Club has ever produced. I wouldn't worry about appeasing old factional supporters, I was a Balmain fan but my favs are 1 and 5.

I kinda like that members jersey. With a bit of tweaking I could see it as our home jersey in the future.

Few yrs ago , I saw the same jumper but it was Mainly white with the one of the thin bars was black , and the other was gold. Looked great.

Fair enough, still my favourite, with five next in line. Also think WT should have a good chunk of the orange to maintain the Tigers theme.

Can someone send these to Pascoe and tell him there's no need to waste money on a designer, we've already done it for him. I mean, I don't know about anyone else but I think these are 10 times better than anything we've had in the past 5-10 years.

I've reviewed my initial suggestion for the combo of kthe white V and two black stripes and come up with a suggestion that the colours of the Vs always remain the same. It blends in with each variation of colour of the jersey but always looks strong. Using a dark grey to frame the outer part of the v's. They need to be adjusted to look like the modern jerseys but anyway what do you guys think. History meets future…
