Don't like any of our jerseys from this year. Much rather the designs being made on this forum. Quite sad that paid professionals somehow make a worse design than mere fans, but who am I to judge.

@ said:Don, the jerseys you made look fantastic!
I was wondering what you could do with this design as an alternative/9's jersey?

@ said:@ said:@ said:Can someone do the same as above but make the two orange lines thicker and add a narrower White V to the top orange stripe.
It would essentially be a combo of the Victor Wests jersey and the Philips Balmain jersey, I'm curious whether that would look any good?
I’ll do it next week…if you like.
Is the base colour black or gold? Or one of each?
I made a rough mock up of what I meant. Think these would suit, looks good whilst retaining our history.
Appreciate if you could make some more professional looking examples as I only used paint.
@ said:@innsaneink,
some alternatives.
All variants of that same old Cronulla jersey, that @Tacky put up. Just moving the colour around.

Thanks Don. Whilst very much appreciative of your efforts and not wanting to trouble you, but as I am incapable of doing so, any chance of dropping the black neck, shoulders and sleeves on number five a little to the left and replacing the white on four?

No problem, Can do (Monday)
Just want to make sure I've understood you correctly.
Am I just modifying the one jersey ? (Number 5)
If So, let's call this new jersey number 6.
Can you fill in these details-
base colour (ei, below the V) -
V colour-
Stripe around the V-
Sleeves-
Top of shoulders-
Collar-
Cheers

@ said:I kinda like that members jersey. With a bit of tweaking I could see it as our home jersey in the future.

Here are those designs, plus one of the other requests to reverse #5's orange and white in a slightly tweaked design (shallower V to allow for normal placed sponsor, some collar/cuff/hem changes, use of a closer to current orange) on a more realistic template:

Thanks for that. Take the orange trims from the neck and sleeves from six and I am sold. Wests top section with traditional white V and a single black stripe to create Balmain colours for the bottom. The more so greyish sponsorship area also looks better.
The gold trims improved the revamped five for mine.

I actually started without the orange trim and collar for #6 but the black was too strong and overpowering so I added the orange to balance it out a bit. This was also the case for all the ones with black tops.

@ said:I've reviewed my initial suggestion for the combo of kthe white V and two black stripes and come up with a suggestion that the colours of the Vs always remain the same. It blends in with each variation of colour of the jersey but always looks strong. Using a dark grey to frame the outer part of the v's. They need to be adjusted to look like the modern jerseys but anyway what do you guys think. History meets future…
