Ivan Cleary has struck the jackpot with a possible large redundancy payment and a long term very well paid coaching tenure.
Meanwhile Wests Tigers are at six and sevens looking urgently for a coach for 2019 and there is a likelihood that they will have to settle for an unproven rookie as the first grade coach.
NRL is a cruel game for clubs like Wests Tigers.
Thats a reality we all have to start coming to terms with.
