Whats the odds on Brooks smashing NC!

The following is is pure speculation of course but so is everything else on this thread. The way I see it unfolding is that we will get Maguire. I'd prefer Bennett but I just can't see him coming here. He's only got at most three years left you'd think and I can't see him getting WT to a point where we're a serious premiership threat until year three. I don't think he's in it for the money as much as for the personal achievement.
My guess is Seibold goes to the Broncos and Bennett goes to Souths, that could be in 2019 or 20120\. I think Souths are a lot closer to being a premiership threat than WT and that will suit Bennett plus there were be some attraction in linking up with the Burgess boys.
That leaves Maguire and WT. While we are almost certainly each others second choice that doesn't mean it can't work. While I'd prefer Bennett I think Maguire could be good for us and is a definite upgrade on Cleary.
I actually think that the speculation of the past 24 hours gives us more chance to get Bennett. Souths are reportedly going to give the gig to Furner which, if Seibold heads north immediately, would leave Wayne with us being his only option for 2019 (provided he doesn’t dig his heels in at Brisbane).

Leeds boss saying there is no get out clause for turner. Fox sports reporting a bennettt and Seibold swap. God who knows…...

I think that it will be Souths' on the 1st November.
Followed by Broncos, then the dominos will fall into place.
Apparently it has to be before 1st of November as The coaches all commence their 2019 season and hence can be paid for it if moved on once it starts.
Sorry correction,
This concenrn is if the current coaches start the 2019 season it will be coming out of the 2019 coaching cap whereas it’s a tidier option to do it prior or on the day 2018 ceases.
I didn’t know that there was a cap on Coaches, isn’t that the case
I’m pretty sure it wasn’t , when did that change?

Furner, 47, has agreed a three-year contract with the Super League club. Australia's Channel 9 claim the South Sydney Rabbitohs number two could cancel his Rhinos' deal if South Sydney boss Anthony Seibold decides to leave.
"We're looking forward to Dave arriving and plans are well advanced for next season. We're in constant contact," said chief executive Gary Hetherington. "Dave met with [new signing] Konrad Hurrell last week to finalise his move and is in conversation with myself and [director of rugby] Kevin Sinfield regarding other potential targets. He's also been speaking to our conditioning staff about his plans for pre-season."
Leeds finished last term with Sinfield in charge alongside first-team coach James Lowes, after Brian McDermott was sacked in July. The club say Furner, who helped them to Grand Final success as a player in 2004, is expected to arrive at Headingley in the next few weeks.
"He knows our club, the potential here and is excited about what we can achieve," added Hetherington. "We know how highly Dave was thought of at South Sydney Rabbitohs and his achievements there were a key reason why we spoke to him about becoming head coach."

Seibold to Broncs, Furner takes coaching role at Bunnies, Bennet signs 3 year deal with Tigers but brings his assistant Jason Demetriou with a succession plan for Demetriou to take over when Bennett retires. Demetriou Tigers coach from 2022 onwards. We win consecutive grand finals in 2024 and 2025!
You heard it here first.
