We're destined to have Madge because we always need someone whose name the forum can't collectively spell. Like Farah and Farrah. And the lack of understanding that resign means the total opposite of how most use that term.

We need a real coaching plan. Unsure if McGuire is the way forward, but whoever we pick should be the coach for the next 3 years with a reserve available. I am thinking McGuire with Griffin in reserve. Why Griffin, we need grit and toughness. HE brought that to Penrith and he will help us connect to players there.
If Souths and Bennett falls through, ofcourse you go Bennett.
Last thing we should do now is recruit a "green"/new coach in the head role. No Dometriou/anyone as head who has not coached NRL before.

That is a bit harsh …after all McGuire is a premiership winning coach and an upgrade to the grub we have or had who knows at the moment .
I never wanted Bennett he is on the down low Imo ,I also think it is a bit of a fallacy what he will bring to the club . I feel McGuire is the right coach at the right time , things are broke at tiger town and things need to change in philosophy and getting a HARD edge that has been lacking for years and he is the guy to do it. Just have to wait and see what pans out over the next week.
