Born in Bathurst, moved to Port Macquarie, then Katoomba Penrith, then Parramatta, but like a boomerang kept going back to Bathurst in between those moves.
Hopefully next move is to Swansea/Caves Beach, just got to get the boss onboard.

Where the wests tigers love come from?

As a 12 year old watching a game between Bathurst St Pats and Lithgow Workman Club, (Lithgow wore the old Balmain Gold with 2 Black V's), it pissed dad off big time as he was a mad Souths supporter.

Hey BT,I have fond memories of playing St Stanilaus Bathurst when I was at Chevalier College Bowral..gee they had some tough rugby players back then...they invited us up for a game one weekend at their home ground at Bathurst,,,we played in about 3 inches of snow...thank you Stannys...

I havent heard anything mate,but thanks for the info..nothing untoward happened in my era that Im aware of...if he has done the crime he should do the time....

The Priests name was Father Caruana and the alleged assaults happened 1982-1988 which must have been just after you left there :smiley:

I left in 1976 with a 4th form leaving certificate and HSC...went on an done an accounting certificate course at Sydney Tech Ultimo and became a Hotel Licensee untill this day...
I cant understand how this guy got away with it for any amount of time....the MSC...misssionaries of the sacred heart colleges were very strict with their placement and overview of suitable teaching candidates..It is no longer my problem but wish them all the best in seeking justice for the victims of this low life person...cheers for your input mate...

tigerbenji,my ex missus,her uncle sold his house to Pat Richards,its in Mt Annan..I quite often go to Campbelltown and visit the inlaws,they live in Woodbine a stones throw from CSS...

Grew up in woodbine, built a house in appin, seperated, and am back in woodbine lol

We could almost catch up and roll down the hill to Wests Leagues for a long lunch one day...I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few forum members at the Wests Leagues and had a great day out with them....salt of the earth people who share a common interest...the Mighty Wests Tigers...

Born in Balmain, moved to Leichhardt in the '80's, Dallas Texas for 5 years then back to Balmain. Played for Coppers and Five Dock RSL and a little bit of grade for Wests ( Tigers didn't want me ).

I’m no one special but I played with Wayne Pearce from u12’s to u16’s at Coppers. I played 2 seasons in u23’s for the Maggies in 80 and 81. An eye opener...

I also played SG Ball with Junior, which was under 15’s in those days, and even then everyone knew he was destined for greatness. He wasn’t fast or big but he just tried so hard. So damn hard…I thought I was more skilful than him but that doesn’t count for much when it comes to the crunch. I think the same applies today. Gary Jack was the gun when I was at Wests and you knew he was a star right off the bat. Strongest man ever, could beat everyone at push ups, chin ups, arm wrestles. Also still has his first 10 cents.

I had planned on playing in the senior masters amateur championships in the Gold coast 2019,but the pandemic stopped that...
Love golf and it was good to see lefty Phil Mickleson win again....only because Im a lefty...

No mate ...off about 23/26 these days ,not to sure...love going around with a couple of beers and a laugh...before I restarted golf,when I was in Wagga I was off 18 hcp...gone downhill in the following years,but still have a passion for the game...
