I’m hoping we get some kind of halves outcome by round 5.

But I’ll take it to round 6, in deference to your footy knowledge.
I’m sure we’ll have an outcome but the thing is competing with the best teams who have playmaking combinations developed over years, it’s very difficult to build it up to that level overnight, unless you have players who are just freaks.

Last year we had enough ball and opportunity to win plenty of games. Halves just couldn't execute.

Sullivan is a pretty exciting player and Fainu looks like a 200+ game first grader too. If we can cash in on some of these opportunities, I don't think 8th is out of the question.
History says it’ll take time for them to learn their trade. Looking forward to trials to see whose got what.

Hopefully. However, I’m not quite as confident. I think Salad is needed for his experience with the other rookie halves in the squad. but I can’t imagine he will be as good as he was when he last played NRL. Plus rookies are generally a bit inconsistent. some burst on the scene and kill it. I see us being better than last year (that shouldn’t be too hard) but missing out of the finals.

I just renewed my membership for the first time since 2019 !

With the board / Muppets Gona and Noffa gone as well. Plus luai and Olam signed I feel like the club is starting to right the ship.

For me I want to see what Benji wants which is a team that competes on every play. If we do that we will win more games than last year and won't get the spoon! That would be a success for this year for me .....

Get out of the bottom four comfortably.

For me, oversimplifying it means it comes primarily down to Sezer.

If he is able to handle the basics and steer the team around in a mature but unspectacular fashion, then we're every chance of pushing up towards 9-10 this season.

If he's a disaster, particularly early, I don't know that our halves can hold us up just yet. It would effectively be Sullivan as chief playmaker and one of two 18 year old debutantes as secondary (in time, they'll be excellent players in my opinion).

Put it this way, if we had Reynolds and Munster this year, I'm every bit in for Top 8, despite the still glaring squad issues, including the outside back situation.

So, for me, if Sezer is serviceable, we're a chance of moving half a dozen spots up the ladder.

Top 4 finish . Latu and Galvin and TDS fighting it out for Rookie of the year as well as being a part of the new and REAL Big 4 that is now the Big 5 with Willet and Feledy all having breakout seasons and Luke Laililli talking about how they have all made a pact to stick with the Tigers and become a 2020s dynasty of Wests Tigers kids that want to usher in a glory era for the club .. Plans for a stadium at Campbelltown are fast tracked after Shane Richardson sells a vision to Meriton owner Triguboff of a massive 50,000 seat duel use facility with Residential towers built with views of the field for diehard Tigers supporters to live above their field of dreams.. Justin Matamua to find his feet as an attacking weapon that defends like Gillmeister and the media start to talk about the fact that luai coming to the club in 25 the Tigers are red hot favourites for the 25 Premiership… 😇🥰

Yep, Benji and Fulton almost got into fisticuffs about salad v cogger and I must admit, i was definitely a coggersarian.

But I think after Brooksy, Benji wanted a recognised half. A safer bet than a promising youngster.

Allegations of conflict of interest haven’t really materialised. Terrible inference to make. Im critical of Benji, but the allegation was malicious and crossed the line.

Slothfield the drunk pisshead is doing his best to cause disruption and scandal at the Tigers becuse his buddy Fulton was shown the door and his pissups on Bandeli Hagipantelis are no longer sponsored on a weekly basis. It’s a total non story, nobody cares and now we know he is a snake, and Pascoe is feeding him.. I really hope Richo goes right after The clown and excommunicates the prig from the club

Well Richo doesn’t owe anyone anything which is a good start.

All bets were off when Tim’s wife got a job at the club as well.

Probably earning $100k a year for feather dusting his office once a month.

Took out the 2 green bins once in round 9.

Rest of the time spent drafting non offensive questions for meet the sloth.

How many other coaches wives get jobs at their husband or partners club?

That’s how much taken we were by this stupid 5 year plan that brought down the entire club hierarchy in less than six months.

The irony is that Tim’s wife probably got another job as soon as she hit old Blighty, but he’s unemployed.

What was the payout for Tim?

Richo should be looking to sue the old board individually for maladministration, to recoup some of the gross wasteage and for wanton psychological damage they inflicted on us fans and members.

Theres not one of us who doesn’t have nightmares of dropped passes and who can’t trust anyone wearing a fedora.

We all hope you are right.
But much more chance of Tumeth tackling like Gilmeister than there is of Matamua doing it.

Look at the run Newcastle went on last season. Ok, we don't have KP but if the halves gel quickly and Bula goes to another level in 24 watch out!

I see that there are 5 options (I'm assuming last option would be 16th/17th).

If you get a free $100 to bet on WT and 5 to 1 odds of the options- I wonder what people put the $100 on?

I personally go 13-15th for the $100 but optimistically we can push for 9-12th.
