I'd be wary about developing any young player from our catchment area that isn't a Tiger.

Phoenix has stated multiple times that he's a Parra supporter and was hurt that he didn't make it.

I can think of three other players that had that same sentiment - Moses, Galvin and Da Silva.

Strange list if you ask me , reckon about 7-8 off the list are on the mark .Hunt isn't the most under pressure for us , Luai, Bulla , even Api .Hunt needs a better season but the pressure is Luai the most.

Godinet still worries me insofar the better he performs our good mate; Mr Moses will shop him around to any club outside of the WT.
He is signed for 2026 - 2027 so most likely the prolonged shopping spree starts November this year.
Here we go again, months of speculation, will he or won't he? He loves the club. We gave him the opportunity etc. Benji is great. 400 forum pages of scenarios by the well informed.
I'm dreading it already.
Fingers crossed if we string some good wins together, he gels with the other players, he can see a future here.

Marshall can build the squad and the espirit de corps within it so our players to want to stay. Our senior players have a role, and I include the Fainu bros, the May bros and KPP in this but the player must want to stay. Even when we lose Galvin and TDS, who imo have been overrepresented in plaudits for what they have or haven't done, we have younger players coming through to replace them. Credit to our junior recruitment staff at Wests, Balmain and WTs. Shannon Gallant seems like a very good choice with local knowledge and respect.
