The two jennings brothers from penrith, with what penrith have Idris, Whare, blake , mansour and dallin, these two are two years away from permanent 1st grade, break the bank with these 3 and with what we have we will be sweet for years to come.

I'm split between Moeroa and Pauli at the moment. Pauli may have more offensive upside but Moeroa would probably be more useful in our team's current state.
I'd take either of them in a heartbeat though.

We can't really rely on a team of rookies. We lack quality experienced players. We have experienced plodders and gun rookies. We need a good mix. I'd like to see us sign a few NRL quality 24-27 year olds.

Nothing much available for next year other than maybe an Alex Glenn. If that's the case, I'd rather wait a year and have a grab at someone like Boyd Cordner or Josh Jackson. I don't think waiting a year will hurt our bank balance or our future planning.

What we have at the moment is reasonable and with some work over the next 12-18 months, we will be far better positioned to see what we need if the current crop don't work out.

Alex Glenn and SKD would be great additions, I reckon. A bloke by the name of Sam Thaiday is also off contract next year and he goes ok, too :wink: Tom Burgess and Alex Johnston are also available, but would no doubt be too pricey for us.

I've been wanting him since 2013 :laughing:

He's such a weapon and a huge reason why the Titans are playing well. Give him the ball, good things happen. He'll make our halves look much better and that in itself is worth every cent.

Good thing you don't care what anyone says Flip because SKD is a myth. Whare, Reed, Roberts, Idris, Croker, Hurrell, Hiku and even Naiqama/Simona are better options. Don't rate him at all (if you couldn't tell).
If we're going to break the bank for a centre then Whare, Reed, Hurrell or Hiku are the only ones worth it.

The tiger fans wouldn't like Lowe… They want players who do everything (Fultons) over players who do there 2-3 tasks well.

I don't think he is better than what we have. Playing well in the structure up there doesn't mean it will transpire into ours.

He sure does, however, I think that the Roosters are going to re-sign him. That's why they are letting Tupo go elsewhere.

Hiku would be good.

I would persist with Hoeter in the Centres for now and see what transpires . But Centres is an area we need strengthening.

Im realistic and dont see any of the names mentioned above as a good fit for the tigers, I want people here that want to be here and not just because they are finished with their clubs.

I feel the likes of SKDs are similar to a Blair / Anasta contract whereby its more about the money.

The Taupau / Kevin Nagiama are both examples of good recruitment. Both needed the break and have WORKED hard.
