..

What pressure? The players from last year have a big track record of coping. The new players are playing shit like the rest of them.
The pressure of no finals, the halves and a few others individually, the new guys having a lot of hope and expectation, the constant narrative around Leichhardt, and finally the pressure that grows during the game when you know you should be winning and you aren't.

And I disagree that we have a track record of coping, the guys from previous years only have experience failing, literally every year.

What ‘pressure’? They can play as shit as they like and will still be picked next week.
That's mostly the clubs fault, last year the club made it clear results and even effort don't matter. The players are on public display as incompetent, with commentators mocking them and furious fans. That creates pressure, it doesn't mean they are blameless, but to suggest they're not under pressure is odd to me.

*Shrug* - I expect to see an unchanged lineup next week. Sheens has form for this.

I don't think most of the players give a shit. They still get paid.

Don’t write us off yet , I’m as pissed as the next supporter but I think we will still come good , I have said In other parts we will be 0/5 I hurts saying it but I still think we will get better and jump up the ladder , what ticks me off is the dolphins and there start , how good is bennett and his player purchases , new team and off and running , they will only improve on what’s been shown already , why can’t we
Cause we are the WTs. The season is over mate. We played a 15 man team at home without their 2 best spine players. Nothing is going to “ click “

Hard to dispute any of the sentiments expressed in this thread. It's sad but I preferred cleaning the gutters to watching the game as there was no expectation of an effort or a win. I remember Leichhardt used to be feared as a venue as the Tigers would lift but now it's not anything but a shadow of it old self. There's probably too many problems from the Board down to the coach and to the players we have to really change a thing at the club. Every question is met with aggression and excuses. The best we can hope is that there's a salary cap scandal at another club to save us from the spoon again this year.

Me too, me too! But jeez, yesterday was bad, really bad!
If I told you I’d seen worse Tiger displays over the years would that help ?
Seriously we were terrible but all any of us can do is get up and get back in the race. Pick the best and most appropriate players available, keep the game plan clear and concise, and hope they are listening.
Talk of the board and deregistration are over the top imo.
Too much hype in the off-season has led us down this path. We have some good buys, and other players, who are currently underperforming. Now it’s up to Sheens and Co to sort through the wreckage and have us ready to go next Sunday.
And wear your gear with pride. Remember “a weeks a long time in football”

The fact Pascoe still has a job tells you everything you need to know about this organization. Complete losers from top down.
He’s got players manning the phones, desperately working on membership retention.
If merch sales and memberships drop off he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on.
I feel for the posters here who have steadfastly supported the WT board siding with their view of no responsibility for on field performance, only starting to see they got mislead. Just like Batemans ankle.
Cavanagh’s Law, says that accountability applies equally across the playing group, but there’s a different set of rules for board members.
