A Night with the coaches

What an outstanding concept.
Looks and sounds very professional. I really enjoyed this thread!!
Thanks to all for information and video.

Braith's job is to lead the team forward for the first few tackles then hand over to brooks to run the last few.

This should be automatically cut & pasted in reply to any future phrases such as "what am I missing", "I don't see it" etc etc in relation to Anasta. Hopefully some of the OTT posters, who for some reason could not see what he brings to the team, will have read this and stop the unnecessary barrage.

Thanks for the info Blake.

Well if that's Anastas role then let's just cut the crap and put him in skandos trainers singlet. Toovey was doing this for years as trainer for manly when Dessie was coach. Telling players what to do when manly had the ball. This would be perfect as we can also get Austin into 6 without hurting braiths feelings.

just because it's Anasta's job doesn;t mean he's actually doing it.

The coach night sounds exceptional! Thanks for the info from those who were there.

Pretty strict regulation on that stuff now I'm pretty sure in terms of trainers giving instructions during play. Obviously people find loopholes.

It's pretty obvious that he's doing something right because when he gets subbed off, all structure goes out the window. Austin might be a better 5/8 but the team plays better with Anasta on the field.

No trainers can be on the field while you are defending anymore

Well I for one am totally convinced. If only I'd heard about his magical abilities to be good at something which no-one can see then I'd never have mentioned the fact that his visible contribution is zero. Thank the lord we've got Anasta loitering about on the right edge to make our otherwise useless props and hooker look good. :crazy

And let's not forget his invaluable contribution to our, sorry, Canberra's recruiting effort.

I can understand it sometimes but how can a really good informative thread like this one end up as your usual Anasta bashing episode?
It was bad enough last year with just about every thread ending as a Blair bash.

Anyway I really appreciated the description of the night and all the inside information and the little bits of news.
Thanks for letting us "be there" in spirit guys.

Wish I had known about it before it was closed off. Have to jump in quicker next year.
